Adult Film Racket Case: Mumbai Sessions Court to pronounce anticipatory bail to Raj Kundra on August 2

More than 10 days ago, actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in the creation and distribution of pornographic content. Since then many murky details have surfaced.

The 45-year-old businessman was sentenced to 14 days in judicial custody earlier this week. A case has been filed against Raj Kundra and Gehana Vasisth, who are now being investigated by cops.

According to the latest updates, the Mumbai session Court will pass an order on the anticipatory bail plea of Raj Kundra on August 2. The businessman had applied for the same in connection to a cyber department case.

The ANI news agency tweeted today that the Mumbai Sessions court will pronounce its order in the anticipatory bail application of Raj Kundra in the Maharashtra Cyber department case of 2020. The order will be pronounced on August 2nd. The court adjourned the order due to a paucity of time today.”

Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 in connection with the creation and distribution of adult films. He is called the ‘key conspirator’, according to the crime.

So far, many developments regarding the case have made headlines. The celebrity couple is facing a fine of Rs 3 lakhs from SEBI. Other than that, Sherlyn Chopra had recently said that Raj Kundra had assaulted her and claimed that Shilpa and Raj’s marriage was in trouble.

On Thursday, the actress Shilpa Shetty moved to the High Court to file a defamation case against 29 media personnel and media houses for ‘doing false reporting and maligning her image’ in a pornography case in which her husband Raj Kundra is involved.
