OTT Platforms are in danger: Summons issued against Ullu App and more such apps. Vibhu Agarwal and Anjali Raina called for inquiry
Following the arrest of Raj Kundra in relation to creation of pornographic content. An app similar to it known for releasing such content has landed into trouble, this is Ullu App. An FIR has been filed against its CEO and Country Head, Vibhu Agarwal and Anjali Raina respectively, at Amboli Police Station under sections 354, 354B, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The victim has filed an intervention application, opposing the anticipatory bail applications filed by Agarwal and Raina. A team of Amboli Police Station investigating the molestation case against CEO Vibhu Agarwal. Vibhu and Anjali were called for recording the statements. The two did not appear and have moved the court for anticipatory bail. Moreover the two have recieved intermin bail till 21st August under the Dindoshi Court.
