Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away in Mumbai

Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday morning. He took to his social media and shared the news of his mother’s demise and he expressed his grief. He tweeted, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”

Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia was unwell for past many days and reportedly she was admitted to ICU at Mumbai’s Hiranandini hospital .

On Tuesday (September 7), Actor asked his fans to pray for her. “I am moved beyond words in your concern for my mother’s health. This is a very difficult hour for me and my family. Each of your prayers will help a lot,” he wrote.

The actor was shooting for his film Cinderella in the UK for the past couple of weeks. While Akshay has flown back to India to be with his mother, he has asked the producers to carry on shooting with scenes that do not require his presence.
