Farah Akhtar trolled by netizens for cheering for the India Women’s hockey team, screenshots of the tweet goes viral

The Indian men’s hockey team broke all records creating history after a phenomenal win in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The team defeated Germany and won a bronze medal after 41 long years. At the moment, the nation’s heart is filled with pride and joy. Wishes are pouring from part of the world.

From normal citizens to celebrities, everyone is taking to their social media to celebrate this iconic win.

Actor Farhan Akhtar also decided to congratulate the team via his tweet. But his one blunder has now changed the focus of citizens into trolling him.

Farah Akhtar took to his Twitter account to congratulate the Indian men’s hockey team for their glorious win. Instead, cheered for the women’s team.

He wrote, “Go Girls!!! So proud of #teamIndia for showing exemplary fighting spirit and bringing in our 4th medal..super stuff. #Tokyo2020 #Hockey.”

Within a few minutes, the actor realised the blunder he had made and deleted the tweet. But nothing can be missed by the trollers. Here are the screenshots of the tweets of the trollers.

On the work front, Farah’s recent movie “Toofan” was loved by many. The film was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Farah was seen playing the role of a national-level boxer and shared screens with Paresh Rawal and Mrunal Thakur.
