Have a look at the journey of The gorgeous Katrina Kaif on her 38th birthday

The gorgeous Katrina Kaif is all set to blow her 38th birthday candle today. The actress looks back to her 15 year old career and considers it as “tiresome and cumbersome”.

On looking back to her films, Katrina recalls, that she initially thought that “Namaste London” will turn out to be a disaster. The actress made her debut in Bollywood with Boom in the year 2003 and later appeared in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? In 2005 and Namastey London in 2007 where she earned her fame. At some point, she thought that her career was over.

Kaif was born to an American mother Katrina Turquotte on 16 July 1983 who is primarily a British actress but works in Hindi films. The filmmakers hesitated to take Katrina in their projects due to her poor command of Hindi.

The actress confessed in an interview with indianexpress.om about her career being “tiresome”. She said, “It is very cumbersome and tiresome to look back. So, I don’t really look back. I just try to be here and look forward. Now what’s done is done. Even when things have been wonderful and fantastic for me, I am only looking forward to what is next. I have enjoyed myself, and I have got to be a part of some amazing films, play some incredible roles and work with the best people in the industry. But now I only look forward to what I want to do from here on.”

Earlier, when she appeared for the first time on Koffee With Karan, the actress expressed her disappointment for her film. “Namaste London”. She said, “When I saw the film, I was terrified. Vipul (Amrutlal Shah, director) showed it to me and said, ‘What do you think?’ I didn’t call him back. You know, when a director shows the actress a film, you have to give him feedback. I took off home, shut the door and didn’t give him a call.” She further said, “’Hi Vipul.’ He asked, ‘What do you think?’ I said, ‘Nice, very nice film. Okay, bye. I just saw too much of me in the film and you start believing what people say. I was like, ‘No, no, no, people can’t see me in a film, they won’t watch the film, it’s a disaster. This is over, my life is over.”

The actress later built up her career with hit films like Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3, Bang Bang etc. Katrina wishes to do more exciting roles in future. Though the actress is busy shooting for her new projects. Some of her upcoming films are Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.

We wish Kat a very happy birthday and healthy life ahead.
