The veteran actress Mandakini chooses to make a comeback in Bollywood soon.
The actress was not seen on screen for many years now. Mandakini got all her fame for her role in the 1985 movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili opposite to RajIv Kapoor. Initially her name was Yasmin when she first entered the industry later Rajit Virk changed her name to “Mandakini”.
The beautiful 90s actress also earned Filmfare nomination as Best Actress. She was also seen Dance Dance opposite to Mithun Chakraborty, Kahan Hai Kanoon opposite to Aditya Pancholi and Pyaar Karke Dekho opposite to Govinda.Mnadakini suddenly decided to quit movies in 1996.
Her manager confirms “E Times” that Mandakini will soon be seen on screen and the actress is currently busy in reading scripts for her next project. He also said Mandakini’s brother Bhanu took this initiative for her. Bhanu convinced the actress to return to films.
On reference to Mandakini’s comeback, he said, “Mandakini is definitely making a comeback and at present reading scripts and inviting narrations, too. She is open to working in web series and films, but wants to play central characters in the projects.”
Though Mandakini had not interacted with media but it is expected that she will soon be seen answering media’s questions as soon as she finish deciding her script for the next project.
The actress also owns a centre for Tibetan medicine along with her husband, which is commonly known as the Tibetan Herbal Centre in the area.
