Pavitra Rishta was one of the most loved daily soaps in India. It starred the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in the leading roles. Ankita and Sushant both received immense love from the audience for their performance in the same. Last year, Ekta Kapoor announced that she would come back with a second season of Pavitra Rishta as a tribute to the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.
There were a lot of rumours about who would play the part of Manav in the second season of Pavitra Rishta. It is finally out now, Shaheer Sheikh would be playing the part of Manav in Pavitra Rishta this time. And Ankita Lokhande would continue to play the part of Archana. The soap had developed cult popularity and Sushant had become a household name after this. Shaheer was last seen in “Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi”, where he managed to give a lovely performance. He also starred in a music video with Hina Khan recently. As for Ankita, she had quite a break from TV and is now returning.
It will be interesting to see, if Pavitra Rishta 2 will be able to garner the love from the audience as the first season did. But definitely it will be pleasure to watch this beautiful love story unfold.
