Prabhas celebrates 6 years of Baahubali: The Beginning, shares UNSEEN photos from sets

‘Baahubali:The Beginning’ starred Prabhas and Anushka Shetty as the lead actors, was released on 10th July 2015. The film completes 6 years of its journey today.

The film was under the direction of S. S. Rajamouli and the script was penned by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. ‘Baahubali:The Beginning’ was a box office hit and earned approximately 650 crores. It was a high budget film and the makers had high expectations from it.

The film which had stolen hearts of many also got its second part released on 28 April 2017. As expected, the second part also hits the same record and earned ₹1,810 crore approximately.

With this, Indian cinema also found one of its gem when Prabhas showcased his acting skills and also how the industry developed technically with time. The film was no less than a Hollywood project in its visual effects. Critics also praised the film for its direction, technical values, and the actors’ performances.

Exactly six years ago from today, “Baahubali: The Beginning” was released in theatres and in the memory of this, Prabhas shares a picture in his Instagram handle remembering his journey with the crew. The actor shares a beautiful message with a picture of him from the movie. He wrote “#6YearsOfBaahubali: Here’s to the team that created waves of cinematic magic all across the country and the world”.

The film ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ has an unexpected ending where it was shown that Kattapa killed Baahubali without giving any proper reason and thus a lot of question arises from the public. The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Sathyaraj won severel awards which includes the National Award, the Filmfare, and received five nominations for the prestigious Saturn Awards.

The film was one of the biggest blockbuster at that time and received five nominations at the 42nd ceremony, including Best Fantasy Film and Best Supporting Actress for Tamannaah.
