Sangeeta Bijlani who is a former Bollywood actress and has set example of beauty, wishes to be back in a web series. She made her debut with lead role in Quatil in the year 1988. She has also worked in Tridev and Hatim Tai. The actress sacrificed her career after getting married to cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in the year 1996.
The actress also won the trophy of ‘Miss India’ in the year 1980. Sangeeta Bijlani also seems quite active in her social media handles interacting with all her fans.
Sangeeta Bijlani turns 61 today and is all set to celebrate her birthday eve. While in an interview session, the actress remembers her films and their box office hit. She says, “No, I don’t regret when I look back. It was a choice I made as I was getting married. Anyway, I had enough as I worked from the age of 15. I began modeling during my school days. I used to be pampered at fashion shows, they would give me chocolates. Some would ask me to stop working and get back to studies. I saw all this at a very early age and thought that I should set myself on a different journey. So, I was pretty happy letting it all go. Showbiz wasn’t well organized the way it is today. I had doubts of how I would be able to strike a balance between my personal and professional life,” The actress feels privileged to see how Bollywood is developing with time and how women are balancing their private and professional life.
She was also asked several questions by the paparaazi about her connection with her co-stars.
The actress also says that she would love to continue her career and would like to comeback with web series. With reference to this, she says, “I would like to explore web shows. I will take an offer if it appeals to my sensibilities. I am not happy with what I am getting. I am excited to see the kind of work the new directors are presenting the audience with. I want to do something deep and interesting, not the regular, run-of-the-mill kind of stuff.”
