
Punjabi singer Manmeet Singh gone missing on Monday and later found buried in Kangra’s Kareri lake area.
Reportedly, Manmeet Singh travelled to Dharamshala with a couple of friends. Later in the flash floods of Dharmashala created many lives to suffer. Some of them also went missing due to the heavy rains.
It is assumed that the singer might have slipped and fell down in the lake and according to Kangra SSP, the body of Manmeet, was recovered from the Kareri lake area in Kangra district. He was one of singers of Sain Brothers known for their Sufi songs.
SSP said, “Body of Punjabi singer Manmeet Singh recovered from Kareri lake area in Kangra district. Details awaited,”
As the rescue operation started, everyone was surprised to see Manmeet’s body in the Kareri lake area in Kangra district. According to the reports, his body was recovered on Tuesday, though his family chose to stay silent on the aspect.
Manmeet’s body had been sent to his hometown Amritsar and handed over to his family.
Himachal Pradesh witnessed heavy rainfall on 11th and 12th of July where several cars and lives had been washed away with flood.
