Neena Gupta had been engaged in different projects for a long time and is enjoying doing so. The actress refuses to play negative roles as she says she does not like to play such roles for some reasons.
On an interview with a news portal, Neena Gupta says that she does not like playing negative characters as once, one does it, he or she is considered to be similar or related in some way.
The actress is known for her work in both art-house and commercial films. She also won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a young widow in Woh Chokri. Her films like ‘Badhaai Ho’, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, Sardar ka Grandson’ has taken everyone’s heart with her unusual character.
Neena Gupta will recently be seen an webseries directed by Vikas Bahl ‘Goodbye’.The film also stars “The Big B” of Bollywood that is none other than Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna and Pavail Gulati. In reference to working with “The Big B” Neena Gupta says to Times Of India, “I am very excited to be sharing the screen space with Mr. Bachchan. It is a dream come true for me and I am quite ecstatic about it.” Neena further said about Rashmika, “Rashmika is very cute! She’s a sweet girl and a good actor. On the first day itself we became friends. Also, Rashmika has a cute little pet. It’s a three months old dog called Aura. She comes to the set with her pet and we all play with it.” The actress on speaking about her upcoming project and also expressed that she accepted the character because she realized that her character is not a complete negative one.
