Tokyo Olympics: Kareena Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Randeep Hooda congratulate Ravi Kimar Dahiya for winning silver

India has created history this year at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Today, wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya broke records and won a silver medal. Dahiya went down narrowly, losing 4:7 in the men’s freestyle 57kg final to ROC’s Zavur Uguev. Nonetheless, Dahiya pushed hard and walked home with a sliver.

Citizens couldn’t be happier with this win. The wrestler’s win is being celebrated with full spirit. People are congratulating and showing their love and respect for Dahiya through social media. Even the celebs of Bollywood hailed Ravi for his determination.

Randeep Hooda, who has been closely following the Olympics, tweeted, “Kasuta ladya bhai Ravi Dahiya!! #Olympics #Silver #RaviKumarDahiya #Wrestling #ravidhaiya.”

Taapsee Pannu tweeted, “It’s silver for our Ravi Dahiya!” with several hand clap emojis. Kareena Kapoor Khan also praised Dahiya as she shared a photo of the Indian wrestler flying the Indian flag high.

At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, India has won 5 medals till now. Three bronzes and two silvers. Apart from Dahiya, Mirabai Chanu won silver in weightlifting, P.V. Sindhu won bronze in badminton, and Borgohain Lovlinae won bronze in boxing. In the end, Indian Men’s Hockey won a bronze medal in hockey after 41 long years and created history.
