Voot confirms Bigg Boss 15 to release on OTT in August before TV

Bigg boss which is hosted by Salman Khan has finally confirmed to release on an OTT platform soon in August.

The reality show can stole hearts of many audience where participants are constantly monitored about their activities where they stay together in a house. The fifteenth season of this show has kept waiting to many of the fans and so finally after testing all the patience of the audience, the makers of the show has decided to release the shown on an OTT platform which will be ahead of its television series.

According to sources, the show has more than 8.5 billion views and has been ruling the television with a 92 percent share-of-voice. It is also heard that the new season will contain a mix of influencers, social media stars and some celebrities as participants. People will also come across the contestant’s all day journey on the screen.

“Bigg Boss OTT would lead on to Bigg Boss 15 after six weeks. This digital show would be young, fun and full of entertainment. The makers are currently in the process of locking contestants and a host. The set would also be a different one than the Salman Khan-hosted show, and have a lesser number of contestants,”

On asked about the launch of the successful show in an OTT platform Viacom18 Digital Ventures’ Chief Operating Officer, Gourav Rakshit, said: “Voot has grown to become home to entertainment in India through industry leading engagement and share-worthy content across originals, international, catch up and content-around-content segments.”
