Businessman and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, was arrested on Monday(19th July) by the Mumbai police in a case related to alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
The Mumbai police commissioner said, “Mr.Kundra is the key conspirator in the case and there is enough evidence against him”. There was a case registered with the Crime Branch in February, this year about the creation and publishing of pornographic films through apps. Further investigation is in progress”.
After his arrest, Raj’s previous tweets about ‘porn vs prostitution’ from 2012 are going viral on social media.
In his tweets, he had questioned, “why it was authorized to pay somebody for intercourse on digicam, asking how prostitution was totally different from porn”.
He had written, “Okay so right here go’s Porn Vs Prostitution. Why is it authorized to pay somebody for intercourse on digicam? How is one totally different to the opposite?? Actors are enjoying cricket, Cricketers are enjoying politics, Politicians are watching porn and Porn stars have gotten actors….!”.
Kundra spent the evening within the custody of the Crime Department, Mumbai. On Tuesday, he will likely be produced earlier than the Justice of the Peace’s court docket.
