Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds’ passing has brought down gloom over myriad cricket fanatics all around the globe. His untimely demise has sent shockwaves amongst his admirers and people are wondering how could have this possibly happened. This year has seen the passing of many legends, however, Andrew was just 46. Even Bollywood artists have taken to their social media handles to share their grief and express their dismay. Actor Arjun Rampal who is too busy promoting his next film Dhaakad took to his Twitter account and wrote, “This is too sad, woke up to this tragic news Andrew Symonds, fatal car accident. Actor Farhan Akhtar took to his social media handle too and shared condolences and prayed that the deceased cricketer’s family would find the strength to cope with the irreparable loss. HE wrote, “In a series of heartbreaks for Australian cricket and cricket lovers worldwide. Andrew Symonds lost his life in a tragic car accident outside Townsville in Queensland state on 14th May, 2022. Not to forget Andrew had featured in a reality show hosted by Salman Khan and the late cricketer had also shared screen with actor Akshay Kumar in the film Patiala House. As far as his cricket stint is concerned the cricketer played 26 Test matches 198 One-Day Internationals for Australia. Symonds was also a part of Australia’s world cup winning squad in 2003 and 2007.
