After the promo launch of Bigg Boss OTT, the makers of the show disclosed that filmmaker Karan Johar will join in as a host. He will be the anchor of the reality show, which will premiere on August 8 on Voot.
Speaking further about the show, Karan said: “My mom and I are huge ‘Bigg Boss’ fans. As a viewer, the show keeps me entertained with dollops of drama. For decades, I have always enjoyed hosting shows and now with ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, the experience will be over-the-top. It’s my mother’s dream come true. ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ will undeniably have a lot more drama”.
He also said, “I hope I can live up to the audience’s and my friend’s expectations, make Weekend ka Vaar with contestants an enjoyable affair in my own style and up the ante on the entertainment quotient. Wait for it”
Karan has hosted multiple awards shows and seasons of Koffee with Karan. He has also hosted a dating show called What the Love!, which aired on Netflix in 2020.
Bigg Boss OTT will have a mix of influencers, social media stars, and some celebs. The fans will be able to watch all the major drama 24*7 live from the Bigg Boss house. After this, season 15 of Big Boss will be launched on the Colors channel.
