India’s most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, is ready to commence its 15th season. The grand premiere will be broadcast from ‘Colors TV’ on 2nd October, 09:30 PM and on weekdays, episodes will be telecast at 10:30 PM. Hosted by Salman Khan, this season’s first confirmed contestant is Bigg Boss OTT finalist, Pratik Sehajpal.
Reportedly, this time Salman Khan is charging Rs. 350 crores for 14 weeks of hosting, which is allegedly the highest amount ever paid to any Indian Television host in history. This year, the theme of the show is ‘Sankat In Jungle’ and the promos have been voiced by the legendary Rekha as ‘Vishwasuntree’.
Now, the buzz says that Bigg Boss winners Rubina Dilaik, Gauahar Khan and Shweta Tiwari will be seen in this season for the first few weeks as the ‘Tribe Leaders’ for this season’s forest theme. Contestants will be divided into three tribes headed by these ladies, similar to the ‘challengers’ concept of Bigg Boss 14.
Last Saturday, the first OTT season of Bigg Boss had its finale where Divya Agarwal lifted the trophy leaving Nishant Bhat as the first runner up, followed by Shamita Shetty and then, Raqesh Bapat. All housemates were given a chance to take a money briefcase which also has access to BB 15 but that will throw them out of the BB OTT race. Pratik Sehajpal chose to lift the briefcase and leave.
In Bigg Boss 15, a few of the speculated names to enter the house include Simba Nagpal, Afsana Khan, Karan Kundra, Donal Bisht, Sahil Uppal, Tina Datta, Barkha Sen Gupta and Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh.
Let’s see who graces this season and raises the bar of entertainment. We shall keep you updated on that. You need to keep a close tab to get all exclusive updates from ‘The India Chron’ desk. In the meanwhile, here’s a BTS from BB 15 promo shoot :
