The organiser of the show Mr. Kalyanji Jana feels that it is important to felicitate someone like Mr. Subhash Chandra Bose who is one of the most prolific freedom fighters of India. “He was one of the most notable faces in the freedom struggle who has been instrumental in achieving the independence of India. I am really proud to conduct an entire award function in his name. The entire team feels honoured to associate with his name. Netaji’s establishment Azad Hind Fauj was the key behind India’s flight to Freedom. He was someone who never budged. His famous Berlin speech, “Give me blood and I shall give you freedom” sends goosebumps down one’s spine to this very day. I feel so blessed to be born in a country which produced such a valiant hero.”

Kalyanji further stated that social workers, policemen, BMC officials, doctors, lawyers, personnel from the film industry who have carved a niche for themselves and have proved their mettle will be given with the prestigious award.

Jana further stated that the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award organisation will host this awards night in a grand manner at the Holiday Inn Hotel of Andheri (East) a Mumbai suburb. All the winners of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Nobel Peace Award will be awarded the beautiful trophy which has been curated for months. According to Jana another USP of this award function will be that the youth of today will be educated about Netaji’s achievements.

For the uninitiated The Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award organisation is the first NGO that is named after the first filmmaker of India and it is founded by Mr Kalajni Jana and Bheru Jain.
