Salman Khan is all ready with his next release Antim: The Final Truth. The film stars Aayush Sharma who is also his brother-in-law. Of late especially during the Coronavirus lockdown there were several disparaging comments n the Bollywood bigwigs against their habit of fanning nepotism. Many famous Bollywood celebs had to bear the heat. Salman Khan too was targeted many-a-times on social media for the same reason. However, it surely hasn’t deterred the superstar one bit. He is back with a film that has his brother-in-law in a major role and is making sure that the film is a success.
Aayush Sharma’s debut film Loveyatri was a superflop venture and netizens even end up leaving mean comments about the actor who hails from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Many even take a dig at the relationship he shares with Salman Khan and list it as a reason for his survival in tinsel town. Now Sharma is back yet again with a film that is backed by his brother-in-law Salman Khan and is hoping that the film’s collection hits the roof. The film has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. It was during an interaction with Bolywood Hungama that a close producer friend of Salman stated, “It’s is an extended guest appearance, something like what Bachchan Saab played in Andha Kanoon. Bhai’s fans won’t be disappointed by the length of his role. At the same time he is made sure his presence doesn’t overshadow Aayush.”
There have been media reports about the film’s release on Zee5, in the first week of October. Sources close to the same publication also reported that Zee5 offered the same price to Salman for Antim as they did for the hugely flop film Radhe. This happened because while signing Radhe, Zee5 had agreed on the condition that they would have to pick up Antim as well. And we all know how badly Radhe fared as far as the numbers are concerned!
