Esha Deol makes a comeback in Disney+Hotstar’s Rudra-The Edge of Darkness, starring Ajay Devgn

Produced by Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios India, Rudra – The Edge of Darkness will play out exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar VIP this year. As Actress Esha Deol, Takhtani prepares to brave the cyber-space with her upcoming crime drama, she returns to the spotlight following a long hiatus. Several decades after their last work together, the actress will reunite with fellow Bollywood megastar Ajay Devgn.

A powerful storytelling format and strong characters combine to make Rudra – The Edge of Darkness an engaging, dark crime drama. Fans of thrillers and crime dramas will enjoy the series.

Disney + Hotstar VIP will become the first place to watch the series produced by Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios India.

Several iconic locations within Mumbai will host Hotstar Specials. The series will begin production soon. Adapting the global success of the British series Luther for Indian audiences, the series is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India.
