Jahnvi Kapoor starts shooting for her upcoming film Helen

Jahnvi Kapoor has started shooting for her upcoming project Helen in Mumbai. The actress had reportedly, signed for this project last year.

The late Sridevi’s eldest daughter Jahnvi Kapoor made her acting debut in 2018 with the film “Dhadak” which had a commercial success. Later, the actress was seen in Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in the year 2020 which had OTT streaming. The actress also played a dual role opposite Rajkummar Rao in the comedy horror film Roohi in the year 2021.

The diva was selected as the brand ambassador of Nykaa and in the same year, she received the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut for Dhadak.

Coming back to the film Helen, it is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie Helen and will be shot in India due to the outbreak of Covid19 scenario. The film is being produced by Zee Studios and Janhvi’s father himself Boney Kapoor and is directed by Mathukutty Xavier.

The film also stars Anna Ben, Lal, Noble Babu Thomas, Aju Varghese, Rony David, and Binu Pappu. Reportedly, Jahnvi Kapoor is playing the role of a nurse named Mili who wishes to relocate to Canada but her fate did not allow her to return back to her place and there the story begins.

Jahnvi Kappor will also star alongside Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani in Dostana 2, and feature in Karan Johar’s ensemble period film Takht and the actress has recently completed shooting for Good Luck Jerry, a Hindi adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila, produced by Aanand L. Rai.
