Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film ‘Mimi’ was released four days before its original release date. A pirated version of the movie has surfaced around on sites like Telegram and Torrent. The makers of the film have not made any official statements as of yet. According to the source, the team is discussing taking legal action over the case.
A few months ago, Salman Khan’s Radhe was also released illegally on a chat-based app. A police complaint was also made against the offender. Then an FIR was filed against three people trying to sell illegal copies of the movie.
The film Mimi is directed by Laxman Utekar, and the trailer was launched on July 13. The movie narrates the story of Kriti’s character Mimi, who decides to be a surrogate for an American couple who later decide that they don’t want the child. The story was adapted by Utekar and Rohan Shakar, and it’s based on the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. The film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Saie Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak.
