PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Salman Khan and others mourn Dilip Kumar’s demise, “Dilipji will be remembered as a cinematic legend”

Dilip Kumar who was hospitalized at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital for breathlessness few days ago is the same place where he closed his eyes forever at the age of 98. The legendary actor is ruling the film industry for over a decade. He is a recipient of several awards and is known as “The Tragedy King” and “The first Khan”.

The doctors expresses their sadness in the hospital. Some of his unforgettable films includes Devdas, Mughal-E-Azam, Daag and more.

Salman Khan recently posted in his social media handle saying “Best actor, Indian cinema has ever seen” where Boman Irani says “We should celebrate Dilip Kumar’s legacy today, and forever”. The actors expresses their heartfelt condolences to his family as well. An utter grief has surrounded the whole Bollywood where all the actors has posted in their official social media account on the memory of Dilip Kumar.

According to the sources, Dilip Kumar’s first rites will be held today at 5pm at the Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself posted in his twitter handle saying, “Dilip Kumar Ji will be remembered as a cinematic legend. He was blessed with unparalleled brilliance, due to which audiences across generations were enthralled. His passing away is a loss to our cultural world. Condolences to his family, friends and innumerable admirers. RIP.”

Rahul Gandhi posted “My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends & fans of Dilip Kumar ji.
His extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema will be remembered for generations to come.”

Saira Banu who had earlier confirmed about Dilip Kumar’s health saying that he is recovering and will return home soon also asked the fans to pray for his quick recovery.

The Bollywood has indeed lost a gem. We hope that Dilip Kumar’s family comes out of this grief soon.
