Raj Kundra porn case: Bombay High Court grants interim bail to businessman

As Ms Shetty fans were happy to see her back to work, there’s another happy news for the shetty family. This came after almost one month of him being in police custody where HC has also scheduled his anticipatory bail application to be heard on next wednesday i.e. 25th August.

Lately Mrs. Kundra expressed her discontent as Bombay HC rejected her plea to restrain media organizations and social media platforms after multiple media reports claimed her involvement and relation to Raj Kundra’s arrest.

While rejecting her plea, Justice Gautam Patel said, “You chose public life and hence your life is under a microscope”. He also said that Shilpa’s plea will serve a chilling effect on freedom of the press. “Reportage of something based on what police sources have said is not defamatory or restrainable”, he added.

While posting a public statement on her instagram, Shilpa Shetty on 2nd August expressed that “We don’t deserve a media trial and that please let the law take its course.”

During these times, there have also been multiple raids and question counters from everyone involved in this case. To name a few, who were highlighted in this case were, Umesh Kamat, Pradeep Bakshi, Sherlyn Chopra and Gehna Vashishth.
