Raj Kundra pornography case: Employee involved in distributing 90 porn film

Businessman Raj Kundra who was arrested by Mumbai Police on July 19 seeks attention of media with back to back updates. He was arrested on the basis of production and distribution of pornographic films through a digital application under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. Earlier it was also confirmed that Yash Thakur was playing double role in the case.

It is also reported that Raj Kundra’s police custody in reference to the adult film racket will end on Tuesday but the crime branch will be seeking extension of their custody from court today in the morning.

The crime branch has recent came across an evidence during an investigation against an employee who was also involved in distribution of around 90 films.

According to Times Of India, while investigating , the team have come across Arvind Srivastava was reportedly alleged for distributing about 90 adult films in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh for the last two years. He was also employed in Raj Kundra’s application firm. The person’s bank statement is kept as a prove which shows that he was responsible for transferring crores to bank accounts of Harshita Srivastava and Narvada Srivastava.

The Baazigar actress and Raj Kundra had a huge argument with the crime branch while they raided their home related to the case. According to Shilpa Shetty, she was completely blank about the fact that her husband was running a pornographic app. A source in Mumbai Police said, “Shattered Shilpa told Kundra that due to his actions the family name is getting defamed and their endorsements in the industry are being cancelled and the family is facing huge financial losses. She asked him what was the need of doing such things when they achieved a standing in society”

The police also doubts that that crores that they earned from apps like “Hotspot” and “Bollyfame” were invested in biotins.

Kundra has been confirmed as the key conspirator by the Mumbai Police which has put charges against him under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) ,relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
