Rithvik Dhanjani reveals casting director tried to MOLEST him in a dirty room

There have been many actors and actress from the Tellydom and the film world who have been very vocal about the dirty experiences that they have had in the past. The #MeToo movement was an eye-opener of sorts because even though there was a vague idea of what really lies behind all the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, the real stories from the Industry insiders about the industry moguls was a bolt from the blue and quite literally so. However, time and again we see there are many actors and actresses who keep on spawning their stories. Now, there could be two reasons behind this. Either the person to narrate their horror story was indeed saying the truth or, they are just concocting it all in order to get some limelight, some cheap publicity.

Recently, TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani opened up about a dirty experience during his initial days he had with a casting director. In an interaction with Zoom, he stated that the casting director asked him to visit his office that was adjacent to a dingy lane with naked children running along the road and then he tried to touch him inappropriately. He revealed, “He takes me to this dingy lane and right next to lotus bedroom, vahan par ek chota sa lane jaa raha hai, chote naange bache bhaag rahe hai, ajeeb si jagah, choti si jagah and I am like, ‘yahan par office hai? Chalo bhai’. So we went inside the lane and on the right side there was this door that opens up to a staircase which goes up. He walks up and after four steps, he turns around and says ‘come, my office’.”

he then stated that the office space according to him was decent equipped with a panty and a computer and other paraphernalia but instead of making him sit in the office the casting director asked him to come into a room where words like Love, party and sex were painted in bold. Rithvik stated that he sensed something was fishy. According to the TV actor the casting director then told him there were two kinds of people, hard workers and smart workers and then he touched his thighs. “I shut the laptop, bandh kiya and I just zoomed off. I ran out of that place”, Dhanjani further told zoom.

Well, for sure there is always two sides to a coin. We at Indiachron do not believe in listening to just one side of the story because we don’t even know for sure whether what is being said is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We could not get in touch with the casting director because he (Rithvik) did not take names.
