On Monday (July 19) the actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in a pornographic racket. Earlier it was said that Kundra and his partner Ryan Thrope were in judicial custody till July 23. But today their police custody was extended till July 27. Later today a team from the crime branch was seen investigating Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s Juhu residence.
Amidst all the chaos, actress Shilpa took it to her social media and penned a heartfelt message for her fans requesting them to watch her new film. Shilpa’s film Hungama 2 was released today around 7:30 pm on Disney+Hotstar.
Shilpa shared a poster featuring all the actors of the film. She wrote “I believe and practise the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists in the present moment, NOW.” Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!”

Furthermore, she posted another tweet saying “So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you. With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.” These tweets are Shilpa’s second appearance on social media post her husband’s arrest. On Thursday night, she posted an Instagram story about overcoming challenges and it went viral.
In an interview, the film’s producer Ratan Jain said that Raj Kundra’s case will not impact the film. He also said that, Shilpa is not at all involved in the case. The crime branch has not found any evidence stating that she has an active role in the scandal.
