Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty files a cheating complaint; Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have to pay 3 lakhs as fine

Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty has now filed a complaint of being cheated in a land deal.
Sunanda claims of being sold fake property papers for 1.6 crores. She is accusing a person named Sudhakar Ghare of selling her fake papers of the property.

ANI said to Mumbai Police that,  “The accused, with the help of fake papers, had sold land to Sunanda for Rs 1.6 crores. Case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC.”

As the case of cheating continues, the problems are not ending anywhere close for the Kundra couple. Markets Regulator SEBI has penalized Viaan Industries Ltd. for disclosure lapses and consequent violation of insider trading norms. And being the promoters of Viaan industry, Shilpa and Raj are supposed to pay a fine of Rupees 3 Lakhs according to the order of the SEBI. “It is on record that the relevant disclosures under the PIT Regulations were made by the Noticees with a delay of more than three years,” SEBI made a note. “Therefore, considering these facts and circumstances, I hold that this case deserves imposition of monetary penalty upon the Noticees,” said adjudicating officer Suresh B Menon.
