Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and fans are in for yet another sad shock. Well, the deceased actor’s family members met with a tragic car accident while they were travelling on the National Highway No. 333 in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district.
The family was returning after attending the funeral of Geeta Singh, the late wife of senior Haryana police offucer O.P.Singh. Little did they know they would be subjected to a similar fatal fate on their return.
What is noteworthy is O.P.Singh is the brother-in-law of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who breathed his last on the 14th June, 2020.
The accident took place near the upgraded middle school at Pipra under Halsi police station.
Superitendent of police Lakhisarai confirmed the accident, ” “It was a massive collision between a truck and a Sumo [an SUV] in which ten persons were returning from Patna.” “Six persons including the driver of the Sumo were killed on the spot while four injured have been shifted to hospital in critical condition,” he added.
Two among the injured Balmukund Singh and Tonu Singh have been admitted to the Lakhisarai Hospital. The body of the deceased too have been sent to the same hospital for post-mortem.
The onces who did not survive the fateful accident are Lalji Singh (brother-in-law of O.P.Singh), his two sons Amit Shekhar also known as Nemani Singh and Ramchandra Singh. The others who died are identified as Baby Devi, Anita Devi and the driver Preetam Kumar. Thebrelatuonship Kumar sgared with the family has not yet been ascertained.
The police stated that the family was returning to their home in the Bhandar village in Jamui district when their SUV crashed into a truck coming frim the opposite direction.
