Singer and Composer Anu Malik accused of copying Israel’s national anthem for a song starring Ajay Devgn

Singer and Composer Anu Malik is very famous for composing many old and new age songs and hosting many music related shows. Now, Anu Malik is facing a lot of trolls on social media and is being called out on Twitter. He’s being accused of copying Israel’s national anthem titled Hatikvah for his song Mera Mulk Mera Desh from Ajay Devgn’s 1996 film Diljale. The national anthem of Israel was played in the Olympics as Israel won it’s trophy and since then the music director started getting defamed for this plagiarism.

A tweet by another user read, “I can’t get over it. Anu Malik actually copied the Israeli national anthem for one of his songs! Utha le re baba WDTT.” While the other one wrote, “Anu Malik copying the national anthem of a country to make a Bollywood song is so Anu Malik!”

tweeted another user on Twitter. On the other hand someone said,”The National anthem tune has some familiarity to the Indian song… Mera Mulk Mera Desh? Or is it just me?”
