Well yes, according to an ETimes report, Rhea Chakraborty was indeed offered to be part of the show and she was also being given a huge sum of Rs 35 Lakhs per episode but she turned down the offer.

It seems that the makers might have really been very pushy so that they could encash on the whole Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty story on national TV but unfortunately all their hopes surely came crashing down as Rhea Chakraborty denied to be part of the show.

Sony TV released a new promo for the show, where the actress was seen talking about how women have to fight for their rights after their husbands.

The actress wrote, “All I will say is, as it’s an ongoing investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary. As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for my children’s sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same. I have been a proud, law-abiding Indian citizen and a hardworking professional for the last 29 years. People have put their faith in ME & I’ve never let anyone down. So, most importantly, I request you to respect my family’s and ‘my right’ to privacy in these times,” Shilpa Shetty shared.

We are glad that she has resumed shooting. Hopefully, she will continue on the show till the end of this season. It was also an emotional decision for her to gather courage and get back to work after her husband was allegedly involved in the porn apps case. The makers are happy that Shilpa is back shooting today and they did not have to look for a replacement.”
