More recently, the actress shared a photo of herself from a flight on her official Instagram handle. Yes, that’s right. In the post, she also revealed that she is leaving for the shoot of her very first Hollywood film and she also opened up about her nervousness. She wrote, “And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again – sooooo nervous!!!!

No sooner did she post the photo, than her Bollywood counterparts started wishing her all the luck for her Hollywood outing in the comments section. Arjun Kapoor, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, her sister Pooja Bhatt, her sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni rooted for her success amongst others. Well, we all know that ALia Bhatt’s role was cut short in a big-budget south film like RRR, she was literally reduced to nothing ad at the same time we all know that most of the Indian actors along with Irrfan Khan and Anil Kapoor who have shot for Hollywood films did not have chunky roles in them, the only exception to his rule being Priyanka Chopra, now it won’t take long before we discover whether the same fate awaits Alia Bhatt or whether she really manages to grab a good amount of screen time with a worthy role in the Hollywood film!

She also went on to indirectly hint at how they discuss every little matter with each other, and that there is a lot more room for them to discover about each other, which again implies that both parties have things hidden from each other as well, “We really get each other. We’re at a mature stage where there’s still room for more discoveries, but we’d love to see a future together and see where we can take it from here. We laugh and joke about it, but we’re damn serious, too,” she stated.

When asked about the next stage, Malaika stated, “one shouldn’t open all their cards at once” and at the same time, she implied that nothing concrete has been decided yet about her marriage with her man Arjun, “We still love our life and romance together every single day. I always tell him that I want to grow old with you. We will figure out the rest, but I know he’s my man.”

Malaika and Arjun didn’t quite speak much about their relationship in the open. Well, you read it right. It seeems Arhun has cut all ties with him. Bollywoodlife reported, Malaika has completely isolated herself and is extremely heartbroken, “While Arjun Kapoor too hasn’t visited her even once in these days. In fact, Arjun was spotted just three days ago at sister Rhea Kapoor’s house for dinner. Rhea’s house is extremely close to Malaika’s house and despite that, he didn’t go and meet her after dinner. Malaika usually attends these family dinners with Arjun but this time she was not seen with him,” stated the source.

The insider further hinted at how the couple used to paint the town red with their frequent coffee and dinner dates have suddenly put a lid on all of it, “The couple who usually go out on dinner dates or coffee dates have stopped everything. This clearly hints that all is not well between the couple,” the source told Bollywoodlife.

The Satyamev Jayate actor took to his social media handle to reveal his status on Monday. He stated that he was in contact with a COVID positive person three days ago.

“I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven’t been in contact with anyone else,” he wrote on Instagram.

He also stated that that the two of them are experiencing mild symptoms. “”We are both vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up.”

Amid the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic several B’town celebrities have tested positive for the virus. At first it was Karan Johar who tested positive, later, Kareena Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi and Shilpa Shirodkar too shared their positive status. Most recently, Lionel Messi too revealed that he had tested positive for the virus.

It was during last week when actor Arjun Kapoor, his cousin and producer Rhea Kapoor, and her husband Karan Boolani tested positive for COVID-19. Arjun’s sister Anshula Kapoor as well was afflicted with Coronavirus.

However, Arjun’s cousin Rhea Kapoor stated, “My husband and I are isolating and taking all prescribed medications and precautions. We also watched Frozen for the first time last night. It was pretty good. Made me miss my sister (Sonam Kapoor) too much. Everything tastes bad except chocolate, my head hurts and I’m still grateful that I got it the way I did and we will be fine in no time. For everyone reaching out to make sure we are ok, we are not too bad, thanks for checking. We love you.”

Meanwhile, when Arjun was tested positive for the first time, he had opened up about the symptoms after his recovery, “I was diagnosed positive on a Sunday. I remember waking up the next day with slight fever, body ache, and was feeling fatigued while using the washroom. By Wednesday, it felt like a regular viral and the fever had subsided, but I felt sluggish and tired through the rest of the week. Emotionally, the recuperation is unique because nobody knows how to go about it. Even today, I am careful because the doctors have advised me to take it one day at a time. I don’t know how badly my lungs were affected, or how much of my stamina is affected, except that every once in a while, I feel like someone who has recovered from a virus because the fatigue factor is real. I am young, but the senior family members might not be able to cope with this as easily we can.”

However, Rhea shared a post along with a picture from her wedding. In the photo Rhea and Anil can be seen sharing a hug after the ceremony and Anil has tears in his eyes. Moreover, the post read, “Happy birthday to my Soul Twin. @anilskapoor I love you more than I can ever tell you. Best friends forever.”

Arjun Kapoor also shared a series of pictures with uncle Anil. Moreover, Arjun penned down a poem on this special day, it read, “Youth ka Khazana, Joshila Jawaani ka Namuna. Directed by Pavan Kirpalani and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, the trailer of this film offered a horror-comedy montage with a pinch of madness. Arjun while talking about this film in a recent interview expressed, “So, it wasn’t like I was looking to do this genre, script-wise. When I read it, what jumped for me was the camaraderie between the brothers, the banter and the friction. The fact that they both really don’t get along – it was really nice and interesting. You generally have two con men who think alike and get along. Here there is a reluctant conman, who wants to be straight, and you have a conman who believes life is exactly about this – you got to play on people’s fears and use it to your advantage. I quite liked the love-hate relation and the tone of the adventure. I took it on because of him (Saif). I got excited about working with him.”

Now, the news is out that the Ayyappanum Koshiyum Hindi remake is definitely happening, and the replacement has been finalized against John Abraham. If reports are to be believed, Arjun Kapoor has stepped in to play the second lead. This would mark Arjun’s second collaboration with John after their upcoming Mohit Suri thriller Ek Villain Returns. This yet-untitled Hindi remake will again see the two clashing with each other, however, this time it’ll not be the action-oriented fight but rather the battle of egos between a well-connected, wealthy and influential ex-Havildar and an upright police officer. 

It was also revealed that Abhishek’s dates were apparently clashing with the shooting timelines of Amazon Prime’s Breathe Season 3 that he had committed to way before this film. John then offered the film to Arjun who immediately agreed to come on board. This casting change, however, has delayed the film further and it’ll now go on floors in January 2022. 

John Abraham is currently shooting for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and will soon head to Spain for its final international stint. He will next be seen in Milap Zaveri’s masala entertainer Satyameva Jayate 2 which is expected to release in theatres later this year. Arjun Kapoor, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for the Disney+Hotstar premiere of his horror-comedy Bhoot Police that also stars Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. He will shoot for the recently announced Aasmaan Bharadwaj debut directorial Kuttey sometime in November!

Presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the film marks the directorial debut of Aasmaan Bhardwaj who has assisted his father, Vishal on ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ and ‘Pataakha’. ‘Kuttey’ is produced by Luv, Vishal, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj. The film’s music will be scored by Vishal with lyrics penned by Gulzar.

Producer Bhushan Kumar while sharing his thrilling experience of collaborating with two of the most prolific directors of the Indian film industry, expressed, “It will be exciting to see this creative synergy of two very diverse filmmakers. Kuttey’s story and star cast are both very interesting. As we present the first glimpse, we hope that the audience is thrilled for what’s next.”

Talking about this upcoming project, Vishal shared, “The movie is extremely special to me as it is my first collaboration with Aasmaan and I’m excited to see what he does with it. Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films are also coming together for the first time and I am immensely excited about this association, as I really admire Luv’s brave attitude towards filmmaking and strong commercial sense.” He then added, “I have worked with Naseer Sahab, Tabu, Konkona, and Radhika on different films throughout my career and Aasmaan has brought them all together in one film itself. We cannot wait for the audience to witness this captivating thriller on the big screen.”

Written by the father-son duo: Aasmaan and Vishal, ‘Kuttey’ is currently in its pre-production stage, and will commence shooting by the end of 2021.
