Not just the pornographic films, Mumbai Police suspects the actress’s husband to have his hands in the betting game as well. According to the Police, he uses the money earned from the films in the betting game. ANI legitimately reported “In the WhatsApp chats, we have found that Raj Kundra was talking about a deal about selling 121 videos for USD 1.2 million. This deal seems to be on the international level.”

Raj Kundra’s lawyer, advocate Subhash Yadav further dragged famous standup comedian Munawar Farooqui into the context saying “Raj Kundra’s arrest is illegal. There is not a single video which can be called pornographic. A 4000 page charge sheet has been filed but the police was not even able to point out any sexually explicit act in the video which demonstrated illegality under section 67a. Rest of the section applied are bailable. The Supreme Court had earlier released Munawar Farooqui on the same grounds.” this statement was made in a interview to ET Times.

The five who were arrested are members of the General Association of Hong Kong Speech Therapists, according to local media reports.

The association published three children’’ books that authorities apparently suspect are metaphors for the political crisis. The books feature stories that revolve around a village of sheep that has to deal with wolves from a different village. The sheep take action like going on strike or escaping by boat, according to the synopses published on the association’s website.

Police confirmed they arrested two men and three women from a trade union, but did not identify them of the union.

Police said that they are suspected of conspiring to publish, distribute, display or copy seditious publications with the intent to incite hatred, violence, and other non-law-abiding acts towards the Hong Kong authorities and the judiciary by the public, in particular young children.

Earlier, Debanjan Deb was arrested for conducting a fake vaccine camp in Kolkata after TMC MP Mimi Chakraborty shed light on the fraud being carried out in the city. Debanjan Deb posed as an IAS officer to dupe citizens with the fake vaccination camp.

Police later discovered that Deb was also duping people financially. Kolkata Police has claimed that Baidya was hand-in-glove with Deb’s activities.

“He was the security personnel of Debanjan Deb. He will be produced before the court today. Not only he had knowledge of the illegal activities of Debanjan Deb, but also took an active part in some of them,” said a senior Kolkata Police officer.

The arrest comes hours after TMC shared photographs of Baidya with West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. TMC MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy stated that if it was Deb’s security, then it would be dangerous for Bengal and the country.

“If it is seen that Deb’s security has been associated with the Governor or this picture is true, it is dangerous for the state and country. Why is Governor quiet on this matter,” asked Sukhendu Sekhar Roy.

Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh hit out at the allegations made against Governor Dhankhar over the links with fake IAS officer Debanjan Deb.

The state government should form an SIT to know why and how he had gone there. They form SIT for everything. Many people visit the governor. Why had he gone there, all these should be investigated BJP does not have any links with this,” said Dilip Ghosh.
