According to reports, he suffered a major heart attack on Valentine’s Day February  14 and was admitted to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai after which he was shifted to Arogya Nidhi Hospital and later to Sion Hospital, where he passed away on February 18. He was visited at the hospital by his actress client Sherlyn Chopra and other Bollywood celebrities whose work he had managed for years, and was attended by his brother till his last breath.

Namrata Tolia Shah is the latest newbie to look towards Bollywood. A few weeks ago, the 5.6 inch tall lady won the Mrs India 2021 beauty pageant organized by Skywalk Productions and managed to impress the judges so much that they liberally praised her for her charisma, character, confidence, beauty, wit, wisdom, grace and poise. It was as if she was a complete talent package rolled in one!

A management professional, a business administration research scholar and a vivid international traveller, Namrata loves dancing, acting and even adventure sports. The smart and cheerful gal is also quite vocal about women empowerment and strongly believes in social causes and humanitarian service.

Namrata is from Mumbai and after the Mrs India win, inspite of so many people asking her if she would get into acting, she seemed to be taking her time. “Bollywood would be time-consuming and will take a lot of focus and devotion, but I think I am open to giving it a shot,” she admits with a smile.

It’s been quite a journey for Namrata already. “It wouldn’t have been possible without my mother who has been my constant pillar of encouragement and support,” quips the Mrs India. She credits her mother Dr. Aarti Tolia not only for standing by her, but for being her guide and biggest critic too.

Right now, Namrata is keeping herself busy with a lot of appearances coming her way after the Mrs India win. Sometime ago, she was felicitated by the Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai, as she inaugurated their cricket ‘Twenty-20 Season 1’. More recently, she was the chief guest and main judge at Incredible NAARI program specially organized in honour of her Mrs India win by the High Commission of India in Tanzania.

Since Namrata has optimistic personality, she takes life head on and in a very positive way. “I don’t know where my life will ultimately take me, but I aim to achieve the world!,” she remarks. Attagirl! That’s the right attitude!

Amid all the buzz, one thing which caught everyone’s attention was the look transformations of the actors. A few days ago, the makeup and prosthetic character designer also took to Instagram to share Pushpa’s poster with a caption that read, “A character’s journey starts when his look for the film is locked! In the movie-making business, both the hero and the villain compliment each other, and none is effective without the other. Our aim is to do justice to both, bringing out their good, bad and ugly sides, with elan. Sharing this poster of #Pushpa, wherein we had the pleasure of creating these two unique characters!”

Helmed by director Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will release on December 17.

“It’s been a roller coaster ride,” quips Preetisheel, who recently also acquired a lot of critical acclaim for the various characters played by Divya Agarwal in the ALTBalaji web series Cartel. “When the pandemic hit, everyone was worried about the pace of the film industry. But the way things are picking up, it’s as if we are rolling at double the speed. And I for one, am not complaining,” she cheerfully adds.

Of course she has all the reason to celebrate. It’s been one of the most momentous years for her. Chhichhore won a National Award for best film, her Tamil action thriller where she curated the look for Southern superstar Vijay broke box-office records, and apart from Bunty Aur Babli 2, she has got yet another huge project in Allu Arjun’s multilingual Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 coming up for release.

For the record, apart from being the No. 1 hair, makeup and prosthetic look designer in Bollywood, she runs India’s premier outfit Da Makeup Lab along with her partner husband Mark D’Souza. The lab’s building is a landmark in the posh Versova locality of Mumbai.

Now, here we bring the interesting lineup of films that theatre lovers are going to enjoy in 2021 and 2022. Starting with Pratik Gandhi starrer ‘Bhavai’ which faced multiple controversies on religious grounds. Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia was unwell for past many days and reportedly she was admitted to ICU at Mumbai’s Hiranandini hospital .

On Tuesday (September 7), Actor asked his fans to pray for her. “I am moved beyond words in your concern for my mother’s health. This is a very difficult hour for me and my family. Each of your prayers will help a lot,” he wrote.

The actor was shooting for his film Cinderella in the UK for the past couple of weeks. While Akshay has flown back to India to be with his mother, he has asked the producers to carry on shooting with scenes that do not require his presence.

Meanwhile, it seems that 2021 is jam packed for the action-comedy actor. The superstar has nine confirmed projects — eight films and one web series — in different stages of production. These are Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Rakshabandhan, Ram Setum, OMG – Oh My God 2 and the web series The End.

The victim was 39years old, ‘Rajesh Dhoot’, a resident of DN nagar Mumbai. Reportedly, Rajesh was drunk at the time he got hit by Rajat’s car and was in an inebriated state while crossing the road. Rajat’s car hit him, resulting in injuries to the back of his head. As per reports, Rajesh is in critical condition, and a case has also been registered against the actor.

According to reports, “The actor has assured the man’s family that he will get him complete treatment, however, he later left.”

The victim’s wife said, “The incident occurred at 6.30 pm when my husband was returning from work and he was drunk. Actor Rajat Bedi, who was driving his car with license number MH 02 CD 4809, hit my husband when he was crossing the road. He fell down, sustaining injuries to the back of his head.”

Rajat’s wife further added, “The DN Nagar police also visited the hospital, but they didn’t catch Bedi. If anything happens to my husband, Bedi will be responsible. He should be arrested,”

Milind Kurde, a Senior Inspector at DN Nagar police station, said that an FIR has been registered against the actor under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act. However, no arrest has been made yet.

A doctor, who is treating Rajesh, said, “His condition is too critical, as he sustained head injuries. He is in the ICU and on oxygen support. He urgently needs blood.”
