• What is an idol?

K-pop idols are usually the members of the group or the solo artists that people adore. A K-pop idol is a person who is under an entertainment company, (YG, SM, BigHit). For example, BTS is a boy band and BTS’S fellow members are K-pop idols.

•  What is a bias? And how to know yours? What a bias wrecker?

The literal meaning of bias is a strong feeling of favour towards or against one group of people, similar to K-pop bias when you like someone from the group a little too much than other members. That brings us to bias wrecker, when you like more than one person from the group the other person would be your bias wrecker (you can’t have two biases, it’s not acceptable in K-pop). For instance, your bias is Lisa from Blackpink but you like Jisoo too so Jisoo would be your bias wrecker.

• Different roles

There are different roles appointed to members of the group, the roles can be Leader, Main Singe, Lead Singer, Main Rapper, Lead Rapper, Main Dancer, Lead Dancer, Maknae. The maknae of a group is the youngest member.

• Fan Chants

Fans chant during the performances. Sometimes it is lyrics, or the group’s name, or random things in reply to the song. When you see K-pop performances, usually when the song begins or during a dance break, there will be a fan chant, which usually contains the members’ names and their group.

• Fandom names

Each group has a name given by their fans which is very popular in Korea and K-pop. ARMY, Blink, ONCE and EXO-L are some of the popular fandom names.

• How to save money?

Only a true K-pop stan will know the pain of how expensive K-pop merch and concert tickets can be. The prices of merches and Concert tickets are very high and by the time you save money for a concert, your Maknae won’t be Maknae anymore!

In 1981, Mr. Kumar played the revolutionary character in the revolutionary film”Kranti.” The film chronicled the return of Dilip Kumar after a five-year break. He proved his caliber and won all the hearts of people at the national and international levels. The role of Sanga aka Mr. Kumar reminded the flame of revolution in India during the British time. People were emotional and proud at the same time while watching “Kranti”. Even now, “Kranti” and the other roles of Dilip Kumar hold a special place in the hearts of every cinema buff.

•  ITZY’s Ryujin on working with Jimin and J-Hope.
  
  Ryujin (류진) is a South Korean singer, rapper, and dancer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main rapper, a lead dancer, a sub-vocalist, and the center of the South Korean girl group ITZY. When she was a trainee she worked alongside BTS’s Jimin and J-Hope in BTS’s Love Yourself Highlight Reel. At a recent fan meet Ryujin said “They were really kind to me. I was really thankful for that because I was a trainee at the time” also adds “It was a great memory for me”.
• IU on her experience working with Suga
  
  K-pop Idol, singer-songwriter and actor IU has released her solo music and have been acting in K-Dramas for a very long time, she had the privilege to work with BTS’s Suga on her song EIGHT which Suga produced and was featured on. “Working together was comfortable. The creative process was relaxed and comfortable, the most laidback of any song I’ve recently worked on” she said.

  Singer, artist, and TV personality Solbi worked alongside BTS’s Jin on Law of the Jungle, and the two became quite close. she said “When you go to the jungle, you have no choice but to become friends” later she added that when BTS got their first Billboard 200 she texted him and Jin replied instantly while he was busy with his schedule “There’s never been an instance where he didn’t reply to my text. That’s when I thought, ‘he is very detailed, that’s why he is doing so well. His personality is really good”

  In early 2020, Younha and BTS’s RM released “Winter Flower,” and in an interview, Younha shared that her collaboration with RM was the one that left the biggest impression on her. “I think my collaboration with RM left the biggest impression,” she said.
