The Early Life of Bill Gates

Bill was born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1955. He was born into a fairly wealthy family and his father was a successful attorney while his mother was a school teacher. Bill was a bright and well-performed student in his study life. He is strong in Mathematics.

Nearly 13 years, Bill developed for computer and programming as well as enrolled in a private preparatory Lakeside School. At the School, Bill met Paul Allen then they decided to work together to find bugs in a system. Apart from that, they worked with the other two students to write a payroll. So, his talent appeared in the school and many were influences.

Both Gates and Allen are continuing to developing software at the age of 15 years.

The Establishment of Microsoft Corporation

Bill and Paul were both established a software company in name of ‘Micro-soft’ in 1975. This company provides various software products to different firms. This function was performed by Mary Maxwell who is the mother of Bill Gates. The Company has faced some time financial crises due to the use of some pirated software.

IBM is one of the American multinational tech companies that offered Microsoft to develop a program for it. At the time, the company didn’t have any resources to create operating software (OS) and recommended another company Digital Research to IBM for building their OS.

In 1980, a contract was signed by Microsoft and IBM and a year later, Micro-soft became Microsoft Corporation. The first time, IBM has launched their first-ever personal computer with MS-DOS with others like MS-BASIC, MS-PASCAL, MS-COBOL, etc.

Bill Gates Now

Gates has not been involved in Microsoft Company for a few years. Now he has dedicated himself to Philanthropy and community projects. Bill has co-founded ‘The Giving Pledge’ that encourages wealthy people to contribute a majority of their wealth toward philanthropic causes. Bill has provided around 80% of his wealth to charity upon death. This work gives the lesson to learn from the life of Bill.

Bernard convinced his father of the business strategy in the real estate sector and found significant success in the field. He stated many companies, now he is finally top businessman in the world. Bernard has the biggest shareholder in many Companies but now he is LVMH’s first shareholder.

Childhood & Early Life

Bernard was born in Roubaix, France in March 1949. He is also known as Bernard Jean Etienne Arnault . His father was a businessman who was a civil engineering company, Ferret-Savinel. He enrolled in the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique and received a degree in engineering in 1971.

Career

He joined his father’s business after completing his study. He started his journey to enhance the business with strong strategies in 1976 and successfully convinced his father to liquidate the division of the Company.

Bernard invested a million French Frances from the liquidation of the construction, and then he invested in real estate business to the booming sector. He became the director of company development, 1974 and CEO, 1977. In 1979, he succeeded his father as president of the company.  When French socialists come into power, they forced Arnault and his family to move to the United States. Later, He began to build a U.S. branch of his family’s property business. But he returned to his home

He was invited to invest in LVMH by the company’s chairman Henri Racamier in 1987. Bernard was interested to invest through a joint venture with Guinness PLC 24% in LMH’s shares. His presence in this company reaches a long way; he controls over 43.5% of the shares of LVMH with 35% of the voting rights.

Major Work

Bernard Arnault’s was an extension of the luxury good conglomerate LVMH. With his characteristic determination and ruthlessness, he appeared in the systematic and well-calculated.  The net worth of Bernard is $37.5 billion.

Awards and Achievements

He was awarded a Commander of the French Legion of Honour in 2007 and Grand Officer of the French Legion of Honour in 2011.
