Just like other films, this too has suffered a huge delay due to the Pandemic and lock down both in the shoot and the release of this film. This Hindi romantic sports action film is being written and directed by Puri Jaganath and is being produced by Karan Johar jointly so this is supposedly coming under then banner of Dharma Productions.

To spice up the news regarding the film, the father of the actress, Chunky Panday was interviewed on his views on this film and the actor said, “I am very excited for Liger. I always tell Ananya that it’s going to be a big, commercial film for her. And I’ve also seen some rushes of the film, I must confess, and that guy, Vijay Deverakonda, he’s just amazing. My, God… oh… oh… oh… so good looking and he’s done a fabulous job. He’s an all rounder – he does action, he does dance, he does everything, he’s really good. And his and Ananya’s jodi looks great. So, I’m very, very excited about Liger. In fact …. even I should’ve done a role in it. I should go an audition for it. Woh, hit hai picture.

Actress Ananya Panday’s gransmother, and actor Chunky Panday’s mother’s demise has left the panday family into grief and sorrow.

At the age of 85, Snehlata Pandey, took her last breath in Mumbai. Many showed condolences to the rest of the family members.

Ananya took to her instagram handle and wrote few lines on her grandmother. She shared some throwback pictures of her ”dadi” which also featured her sister Rysa Panday, her cousins Ahaan Panday, Alanna Panday, her father Chunky Panday and her uncle Chikki Panday.

Ananya captioned the post, “rest in power, my angel when she was born the doctors said she wouldn’t live beyond a few years because of a defected heart valve, but my Dadi lived and how. She worked every day up until the age of 85, going to work at 7 am in her block heels and red streaked hair. She inspired me every single day to do what I love and I’m so grateful to have grown up basking in her energy and light. She had the softest hands to hold, gave the best leg massages, she was a self-proclaimed (and very politically incorrect) palm reader and never ever failed to make me laugh. The life of our family. You’re too loved to ever be forgotten Dadi – I love you so much.”

We hope that Ananya may come out of this grief soon and lead a happy and healthy life ahead.
