The couple dated for 6 years and then parted their ways in 2020. When the couple got separated their fans felt the pinch and were hurt and thus, slammed Asha Negi for this separation. However the two never spoke on the reasons for their separation. Recently Rithvik opened up, but clearly refused to speak on the reasons for split.

The Actor on being interviewed by ‘By Invite Only season 2’ said, “First thing first, I’d like to say definitely stand by it. I think I don’t have to explain anything to anyone. I think it’s been one the best things that have ever happened to me those 9-10 years of my life. It really made me who I am. She really really helped me become so much better of a human being.”

He praised the actress saying, “I can’t thank her enough. I think it’s been a beautiful union that it was, up until the time it was. Of course, we probably have different ways to.. alag-alag journey pe nikle hain humlog but with so much love and so much gratitude in my heart. That’s all that I live by every day,” he even said that he couldn’t be any less grateful to the lady for everything she has done for him. The love between Asha and Rithvik blossomed on the sets of Pavitra Rishta which indeed was a great show and bloomed the love story of not just these two but also the love of Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The Chandigarh boy claims that after watching the episodes of the show, he felt disappointed and shared his views on social media.

The boy questioned the viewers and bigg boss lovers what is Raqesh Bapat doing in the show. The boy says,“Raqesh Bapat has spoilt the entire game by being on a reality TV show. He has taken the place of a real and genuine person on an OTT platform, people come here to watch some fun and he is providing none of it and is definitely not worth it. Just by again and again saying I’ll quit the show, who is he threatening? Why is Raqesh Bapat on this show and why has he come to this show when more deserving and entertaining people could have been there.”

He further stated, “Raqesh has been the most clueless person in this reality show, he (Raqesh) has no idea what he is doing, he doesn’t understand what he needs to do in any task given by Bigg Boss nor does he reply properly to anyone. When Karan Johar asked him a question he had no proper answer and seemed even more clueless than he usually does, how is he a part of this show, when clearly more deserving and talented people could have replaced him.”
