The news now is that the app’s CEO and Country Head have moved to Dindoshi  Sessions Court Mumbai for Anticipatory Bail Application. The matter is kept for final Arguments today (21st August 2021). The Victim/ Complainant has filed an Intervention Application through her Intervenors/ Advocate Satyam Singh Rajput to oppose the Anticipatory Bail Applications filed by both the accused.

The victim was time and again sexually and mentally harassed by the CEO of ULLU App wherein he forced her to watch Adult/ erotic content along with the Editors. The CEO further forced her to act in the Erotic and pornographic content of the Ullu app and give a seductive voice in the pornographic podcast of the Lattu app. When the victim denied all such demands, being scared of the fact that she was aware of all the crucial information against both the Pornographic apps owned by CEO Vibhu Agarwal and managed by Anjali Raina.

They lured the Victim by messaging her and inviting her to the office and then made her strip and wear sample intimate wear/ under garments to be launched by ULLU Merchandise in the storeroom of the ULLU office in Mumbai, they further took her photos and video and threatened her that they will make all the photos and video viral if she speaks about the incident with anyone or releases any information regarding Pornographic apps. They further wrongfully restrained and illegally confined the victim on 18, 19, and 21st June in the name of investigation. 

Advocate Satyam Singh Rajput further stated that ULLU App has been in news for producing and releasing Adult Content and several Complaints/ cases have been filed against ULLU App along with others for the censorship of such adult/ Obscene content produced and released by OTT Platforms in Madhya Pradesh High Court and Supreme Court of India. Further, an FIR No. 02 of 2020 was registered against the Director of ULLU Platform viz. Mr. Vibhu Agarwal and Ms. Megha Agarwal and other OTT Platforms u/s 292 of IPC, 67, 67(A) Of IT Act and 3 and 4 of Indecent representations of Women(pro) Act 1986. 

Adv. Satyam Singh Rajput opposed the said application and requested the Honourable Dindoshi Sessions Court-Mumbai to demand the accused to submit CCTV footage of 18, 19, and 21 June 2021 and Mobile phones. The hearings are awaited and also the terror of more such apps getting under the radar sustains.

Businessman Raj Kundra is currently under judicial custody. He is booked under the sections Kundra has been named as a key conspirator by the Mumbai Police and is currently booked under the following: Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in addition to relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

Kadam claimed that he had exposed Raj Kundra at a press conference that he had organised during the last week of July. During the press conference, Kadam revealed that Viaan Industries which is owned by Raj Kundra started an online gaming business called Game of Dot, which had committed fraud as the company collected money from the distributor from all over the country and then stopped all forms of communication.

Kadam further added: “I have written to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray and the Deputy Chief Minister with proof attached but there has been no response. I will not stop here and if the need arises I will approach ED and CBI to expose Kundra”.

On July 19, Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in creating and distributing pornography content. Following Raj Kundra’s arrest, a trader from Ahmedabad also filed a complaint with the Mumbai crime branch and cyber police alleging that he had been duped of Rs 3 lakh by businessman Raj Kundra’s firm under the pretext of making him distributor of an online cricket skill-based game. Raj Kundra and his business partner Ryan Thorpe are currently under judicial custody.

Bollywood model and actress Sagarika Shona Suman made a shocking revelation stating that Raj Kundra asked her to do a nude audition, to which she refused. “In August 2020, I got a call from Umesh Kamat Ji who offered me a web series owned and produced by Raj  Kundra. I asked him about Raj Kundra and he told me he is Shilpa Shetty’s husband. He told me if I joined (the web series), I would continue to get work and I would reach great heights. So I agreed and then he told me to audition. I told him it’s Covid-19 so how will I give the audition. So he said, “You can do it via video call. When I joined the video call, he demanded that I give a nude audition. I was shocked and refused. The video call had three people – one of whom had their face covered, and I think one of them was Raj Kundra,” said Suman.

Soon after the interview, Sagarika claimed that she had been getting threatening, abusive calls and messages through Messenger and Whatsapp. She has now filed a complaint stating the fact people have threatened to kill or rape her.” I am disturbed and depressed because of the calls I am getting from different online platforms. I am getting rape threats. They are threatening me and accusing me of shutting down their business,” said Sagarika.

On Friday, the Mumbai Crime Branch recorded Shilpa Shetty’s statement regarding the case. Raj Kundra is currently under judicial custody till July 27. Bombay High denied him bail. Kundra’s lawyers claim that his arrest in the matter was “illegal.”

“We have enough evidence to take Raj kundra into custody” claimed the police. Back in February Actress and model Poonam Pandey blamed Raj Kundra for fraud as according to her Raj Kundra and his associates were using her pictures and videos inappropriately even though their contract with her had ended.

Not just Poonam Pandey but quite a few models and YouTubers came up ith some really shocking accusations which were confirmed where he and his lawyer had chats. Mumbai police while talking to media stated that Raj Kundra even plans on expanding the pornographic film industry and start live streaming of pornographic films via various apps.

According to Times now report the businessman had plans of expanding the pornographic industry into some as huge as the Bollywood industry. The businessman had named the company after is 9 year old soon Viaan and te company was not registered in India but was a UK based Company.

It has also been reported that Kundra earned a profit of Rs 2 Lakhs per day from these apps and had many backup apps in case one of it was traced.

Raj Kundra’s lawyer Advocate Abad Ponda had argued against the arrest saying, “Arrest should be made only when the investigation cannot move further without the arrest. In this case, the accused was made to sign the notice of CrPC 41, to join the investigation once he was arrested. The arrest wasn’t made as per law.” He furthered his argument saying, the said films are not porn because they don’t show two people indulging in “acts of intercourse.”
