A senior Cooper Hospital official told PTI, “He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago. Now, according to the sources, his friend Shehnaaz Gill has left the shoot after hearing the news of his demise. Other friends like, Asim Riyaz, Rahul Vaidya, Hemanshi Khurana and even Sana Khan were shocked on this news and couldn’t believe that this had happened.

Sana Khan in an interview with Zee News said, “Mai apni gaadi se Kahi jaa rahi thi, jab kisi ne mujhe phone kiya aur woh phone mere saath jo the unhone uthaya. Jab unhone mujhe bataya ki Siddharth Shukla aab nahi hai, I mean he passed away, i couldn’t believe it. Maine kaha yeh toh abhi kisi shooting me hounge. The I googled and showed him aur Maine niche ka message padha hi nahi aur jab Maine padha, I just could not stop crying.” Even while interviewing the actress broke quite a few times.

Shehnaaz however has not opened up regarding this news and is invisible since this matter came up. We expect her to speak her when she feels stable.

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s elder brother and producer Vir Chopra has crossed the rainbow bridge. Reportedly, Chopra lost the battle to COVID-19 on Monday. His family unlocked the door to a hospital in suburban Mumbai where he was admitted and being treated for Coronavirus for almost 21 days.

The producer was on a vacation in Maldives when his health slumped. There is not much clarity but it seems that Chopra contracted coronavirus when he was in Maldives. After shelling out a couple of days, he was rushed to Mumbai and was admitted in an ICU in a hospital. He was being monitored continuously for three weeks but failed to resist the virus due to health complications.

Vir Chopra was a film producer and he worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra on several films like 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. He was the creative producer of films like Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Mission Kashmir, Parineeta, Broken Horses and Kareeb.

Film critic Anupama Chopra, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s wife, confirmed the news of Vir’s demise on Instagram. “Vinod always said that Vir was his better version – nice to a fault , highly educated and measured instead of volatile.”

Film maker Kumar Ramsay who is best known for writing most of the Ramsay Brother’s horror films which also includes the late actor Rishi Kapoor starred “Khoj”. Kumar closed his eyes on Thursday(8th July) at his residence in Hiranandani.

Kumar’s eldest son Gopal confirmed the PTI “He passed away due to cardiac arrest, today morning around 5:30 AM. He passed away very quietly. The funeral will take place around 12 PM. We are waiting for the priest to arrive”.

Kumar Ramsay’s nephew also confirms about his death to ‘indianexpress.com’ , he says “Kumar Ramsay was the eldest among the Ramsay Brother’s, namely Tulsi Ramsay, Shyam Ramsay, Gangu Ramsay, Keshu Ramsay, Kiran Ramsay and Arjun Ramsay. He suffered a cardiac arrest this morning and died around 5:30 am at his home in Hiranandani in Mumbai. He was 85.”

His final rites will take place around 12 PM as soon as the priest arrives.

Dilip Kumar was admitted at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital few days ago. Saira Banu had a regular visit to the hospital and she was often captured by the journalists, where she informed about the actor’s health. She also said on a tweet that Dilip Kumar is recovering gradually and would soon return home. Saina Banu says, “We are grateful for God’s infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving,”. She further added, “We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha’Allah he is healthy and discharged soon.”

The doctors confirmed that the legendary actor had some age related medical issues after getting discharged from the hospital.

The death of the legendary actor was confirmed on a tweet by the actor’s family friend Faisal Farooqui on Dilip Kumar’s official twitter handle. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab a few minutes ago. We are from god and to Him e return.”

Dilip Kumar’s career spans on over 65 films, and some of his best known works are Devdas ‘(1955), ‘Naya Daur’ (1957), ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ (1960), ‘Ganga Jamuna’ (1961), ‘Kranti’ (1981), and ‘Karma’ (1986). He was last seen in ‘Qila’ in 1998. He is also known as the Tragedy king of Bollywood for almost a six decades.
