Over a period of years, DK looked after the work assignments for many celebrities including names such as Govind Namdev, Sherlyn Chopra, Milind Soman, Raju Srivastav, Shakti Kapoor, Anupama Varma, Mandakini, Sunil Pal and a plethora of other celebrities. He also handled the casting for some of Anees Bazmee’s films, including blockbusters such as Welcome, Ready, No Problem, Thank You and even some Tik Tok influencers and South Indian stars.

Apart from being a talent manager, business manager and casting director, he had also started two firms, namely Big Shot Productions and Big Shot Events.

He was particularly known as the ‘Happiest Celeb Manager in Bollywood’, as he always greeted people with a big smile and was jovial and spiritual in his thoughts and talks. DK Shroff was also known for his unique sense of dressing and would dress in clothes with certain colours on certain days.

Moreover, his dressing sense was unarguably the most colourful in Bollywood, which jelled quite well with his happy-go-lucky personality. He made sure he inspired and cheered up everyone who came in contact with him, and even had a knack of winning over his detractors. Such was his charm, and he will be greatly missed in the film industry.

According to reports, he suffered a major heart attack on Valentine’s Day February  14 and was admitted to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai after which he was shifted to Arogya Nidhi Hospital and later to Sion Hospital, where he passed away on February 18. He was visited at the hospital by his actress client Sherlyn Chopra and other Bollywood celebrities whose work he had managed for years, and was attended by his brother till his last breath.

DK Shroff and his smiling demeanor will be fondly remembered by many in Bollywood for a very long time to come.

Actor Paras Chhabrra who met Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss 13, house shared a short clip from the virtual prayer meeting. In the video, Brahma Kumari sister Shivani talks about Sidharth’s mother- Rita Shukla’s first response to her after her son’s demise.

The clip which was shared by Paras Chhabrra, the Brahma Kumari sister is heard saying, “When I spoke to sister Rita on the phone, Sidharth’s mother, she just said ‘Om Shanti’ from the other side of the line. There was so much stability in that Om Shanti, so much power, I was wondering what kind of energy is this that is communicating through this mother’s voice. Then I asked her–Rita behen are you all right’ And she told me, I have god’s strength. What a great soul is Sidharth that his mother’s soul at that time only had one thought that he will be happy, wherever he goes.”

Paras Chhabrra wrote on Instagram after sharing the video, “Rita aunty, may you find strength, and after hearing this, I have also found strength.”

On Monday, Family also released a statement which reads, Thank you to everyone who supported Sidharth on his journey and showed him a lot of love, because he has now permanently established in our hearts, this love will not cease here.  Also Thank you to the Mumbai Police Department for shielding us and staying with us at all times. Please remember to pray for Sidhartha.

Forensic department head Dr R Sukhdeve confirms and said that “No external injuries were found on the body”. The actor reportedly died due to heart attack. His last rites were done at a Mumbai crematorium on Friday. Many of his friends, colleagues and family came to give his last tribute to the late actor.

The shocked Shefali Bagga says to media, “Fans were messaging me on social media but it all seemed so unbelievable. Then I started getting calls from media and realised it was true. I am yet to come in terms with the loss. He was too young to go so soon,” she says this to indianexpress.com. Sheffali further says that he was an encouraging and positive man and even though they had some bad moment spent inside the house he always stood for her, and others, who he felt were right.

Commenting on his physique, Sheffali says, “He was probably the strongest among all of us. He was so fit and would be working out and even eating right. When he came back from the hospital after suffering from food poison, he would be so active and always ready to take up challenges. A man so young, so fit died this way is too difficult to comprehend.” She further said that she always got Sidharth’s news from Shehnazz as she could not afford to keep a constant touch with the late actor for her busy schedule. One being asked how Shehnazz reacted after the news of the demise of Sidharth Shukla, she days “I had been trying to call her but she did not answer. Now her phone is switched off. It’s too difficult a time for all of us.”

Actress Ananya Panday’s gransmother, and actor Chunky Panday’s mother’s demise has left the panday family into grief and sorrow.

At the age of 85, Snehlata Pandey, took her last breath in Mumbai. Many showed condolences to the rest of the family members.

Ananya took to her instagram handle and wrote few lines on her grandmother. She shared some throwback pictures of her ”dadi” which also featured her sister Rysa Panday, her cousins Ahaan Panday, Alanna Panday, her father Chunky Panday and her uncle Chikki Panday.

Ananya captioned the post, “rest in power, my angel when she was born the doctors said she wouldn’t live beyond a few years because of a defected heart valve, but my Dadi lived and how. She worked every day up until the age of 85, going to work at 7 am in her block heels and red streaked hair. She inspired me every single day to do what I love and I’m so grateful to have grown up basking in her energy and light. She had the softest hands to hold, gave the best leg massages, she was a self-proclaimed (and very politically incorrect) palm reader and never ever failed to make me laugh. The life of our family. You’re too loved to ever be forgotten Dadi – I love you so much.”

We hope that Ananya may come out of this grief soon and lead a happy and healthy life ahead.
