The movie was hugely loved by the audience. The performance of Shah Rukh as Dev, Aishwarya as Paro or Madhuri as Chandramukhi won the audience’s heart. Not only that, Nitin Chandrakant Desai’s grandeur of the sets, Ismail Darbar’s songs “Dola re Dola”, “Bairi Piya”, “Silsila ye pyaar ka”, the costumes of the actors left the audience at awe. The movie won 5 National Awards, and remained as one of the best movies in the history of Indian Cinema.

Today, the actors took to their social media to remember the memories they spent on set, Shahrukh Khan mentioned his “dhoti kept falling off” and Madhuri dedicated the movie as an Ode to the late actor Dilip Kumar.

Shreya Ghoshal has completed 19 years in Bollywood on 12th July, and for which she was grateful to all those who appreciated her talent.

The singer shared about her journey in hindi films that began with “Devdas”. She shared a post on her social media remembering how she started her professional career at the age of 16.

Shreya Ghoshal took to her social media, she wrote, “19 years ago on this day I made my debut in Hindi Films in the iconic film #Devdas. It’s still vivid in my memories the magical years of the making of the music. Always grateful to #SanjayLeelaBhansali sir for believing in that 16 year old girl”.

Shreya also expressed gratitude towards her parents for always standing by her side and she wrote, “And my parents for being there days and nights with me to make me into what i am today”.

She also paid tribute to late actor Dilip Kumar by sharing a monochrome picture of him, who played the lead character in the 1955 film “Devdas”. She wrote in her caption, “As we celebrate 19years , we salute the legend. Devdas then, now and forever”.

She recently made her digital debut in “The Family Man”, as lead singer with “Kiske liye tu marega” and “Dega jaan”.
