Actor Farhan Akhtar took to his social media handle too and shared condolences and prayed that the deceased cricketer’s family would find the strength to cope with the irreparable loss. HE wrote, “In a series of heartbreaks for Australian cricket and cricket lovers worldwide. RIP #AndrewSymonds .. a terrific competitor who on his day, could turn any game on its head.. condolences to the family.”

Andrew Symonds lost his life in a tragic car accident outside Townsville in Queensland state on 14th May, 2022. Not to forget Andrew had featured in a reality show hosted by Salman Khan and the late cricketer had also shared screen with actor Akshay Kumar in the film Patiala House. As far as his cricket stint is concerned the cricketer played 26 Test matches 198 One-Day Internationals for Australia. Symonds was also a part of Australia’s world cup winning squad in 2003 and 2007. The film’s trailer which was released recently took the internet by storm and viewers couldn’t’ stop raving about the scale, the action sequences, Kangana Ranaut’s badass avatar and Arjun Rampal’s villainous turn. Now, it looks like the teaser of the song has led to the anticipation for the song and the film to soar even further.

Talking about this foot-tapping number rapper Badshah says, “The brief for the song was to compose a tune which would be catchy but would also capture the essence of the film and reflect the spirit of its main characters. The title of the song is based on Agent Agni and the way she powers through her mission in the film. Rampal plays the menacing antagonist and the song pits the two of them against each another.”

Kangana Ranaut says, “I had a blast shooting for the song as I love the way Badshah composes them. They are full of life and the tempo gets you grooving. She’s On Fire showcases Agent’s Agni’s power, how she is on this mission and how nothing can stop her from achieving her goal.”

Meanwhile, Razneesh Ghai added, “We had planned to shoot a song for the film which would depict the film’s theme. She’s On Fire does justice to the role played by Kangana Ranaut in Dhaakad. It depicts her as a force of nature who is unstoppable. I am happy with the way the song has shaped up and I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction to it.”

Deepak Mukut said, “We have worked hard on creating a song which is ideal in portraying the spirit of the film. Badshah has done an amazing job in bringing out the thrilling vibe of the film through ‘She’s On Fire’. Even Kangana and Arjun have given it their all in making the song the heart-thumping track that it has turned out to be. The foot-tapping number is groovy and full of energy. I am sure that it will soon be a chart topper and will be played on radio channels and in parties everywhere. This song will be a huge hit.”

Soham Rockstar Entertainment presents Dhaakad which is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai and co-produced by Hunar Mukut. The film is directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced in association with , Kamal Mukut, Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum films. Dhaakad’s music is produced under SRE Music and it’s distributed by Zee Studios with its worldwide release on May 20, 2022.

However, there’s a buzz roaming around that the makers have decided to change the release date as many projects are lined up for release in April.

Although an official announcement about the release date is needed yet.

However, Ms. Ranaut had earlier opened up about her movie experience, “Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. The film is mounted on a large scale, and is one of a kind female-led action film.”

Meanwhile, the film is directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai and it also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta along with a slew of compelling actors. It is also alleged that the film is all about dealing with the subject of child trafficking and the exploitation of women.

In December 2020, the court directed the Juhu police to conduct an inquiry into Javed Akhtar’s complaint after which criminal proceedings were initiated against her, and she was issued a summons in February this year.

Earlier this year, Kangana through her counsel Rizwan Siddiquee, challenged the defamation proceedings that were initiated against her, saying that the court had failed to apply its mind to the case. Mr Akhtar’s counsel Jay Bharadwaj, however, told the high court that the magistrate had directed the police inquiry after going through the lyricist’s complaint and excerpts of Kangana Ranaut’s interview, in which she had made the alleged defamatory comments.

Now, the Bombay High Court today has dismissed Ranaut’s plea filed seeking quashing of the criminal defamation proceedings initiated against her by a court in Mumbai based on lyricist Javed Akhtar’s complaint. High court judge, Justice Revati Mohite Dere, who had on September 1 reserved her order on the plea, said the applicant’s (Kangana Ranaut’s) petition “stands dismissed”.

On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut’s recent release ‘Thalaivii’ is garnering appreciation. Ms Ranaut will be next seen in an action entertainer ‘Dhaakad’. The actress has also started shooting for ‘Tejas’, wherein she plays the role of an air force officer. Kangana has also announced ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and political drama ‘Emergency’ as her upcoming movies.

Revisiting her recent multiplex and screen window controversy, ‘Thalaivii’ was recently not getting screens in both Hindi and down south areas. She publicly accused multiplexes including PVR and INOX of ganging up against her. Now, PVR cinemas have addressed her accusation with warmth and kindness and have managed to give Thalaivii, four weeks’ window down south. Yet, the issue persists on Hindi screens. Reason being, multiplexes following the government’s covid based regulations.

The actress has been using her official Instagram account for the promotions of the film and had recently slammed the photo-sharing website for ‘unprofessionalism’. She had penned, “Dear @instagram I need to add my film trailer link to my profile I am told my profile is verified so you own it now, even though I have earned and build this name and profile over many years but on insta I need your permission to add anything to my own name or profile. Your team in India tells me that they need to take permissions of their international bosses… it’s been one week feeling like a slave of bunch of white idiots….Change your East India Company attitude.” 

Apart from ‘Thalaivii’, Kangana will also be seen in an action entertainer ‘Dhaakad’. The actress has also started shooting for ‘Tejas’, wherein she plays the role of an air force officer. Kangana has also announced ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and political drama ‘Emergency’ as her upcoming movies.

Making the announcement, Zee Studios tweeted, “With a personality queen size, Jayalalithaa’s story has always belonged to the BIG SCREENS! Embark on her inspiring journey from being a cine star to becoming one of the most influential CMs IN THEATRES near you on 10th September. ”

The film’s trailer was released on March 23 this year, marking Kangana Ranaut’s 34th birthday. This multilingual film was earlier scheduled to release in the month of April, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie will be released in three languages– Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. With music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Vishal Vittal, Thalaivi also features Nassar, Bhagyashree, Samuthrakani, Madhu Bala, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, and Poorna.

Thalaivi is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali fame. The film is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh Singh. Thalaivi has already been certified with a ‘U’ certification. Apart from this movie, Kangana will also be seen in the action films Dhaakad and Tejas.
