On the work front, the actor is currently shooting for Doctor G alongside Rakul Preet Singh in Prayagraj.

Khurrana and Aanand L Rai have previously teamed up on projects like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan. The movie ‘Action Hero’ will be shot in the U.K. This movie will be a new space for both actor-filmmaker duo. Other details about the film are yet to be announced.

The Dream Girl actor recently finished shooting for his next action film titled ‘Anek’. This film is directed by Anubhav Sinha. This will be the second collaboration between Anubhav and Ayushmann after ‘Article 15’.

Khurrana has quite a few projects lined up. Fans are extremely thrilled about the actor’s upcoming projects, including Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. Ayushman will be seen sharing the screen with talented actress Vaani Kapoor for the first time.

In a conversation with PTI, Ayushmann talked about shooting in Prayagraj for Doctor G. He said. “I still remember getting mesmerised by its history, heritage, and architecture. Prayagraj sees the confluence of three rivers – Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. I will be shooting again in this beautiful city and I can’t wait to go back”. He further added, “I will try and find some time to visit the places that I had shot for Roadies just to relive my days of struggle and self-belief.” It will be amazing to shoot in the city that carved my fortune at the start of my career”.

Ayushmann says, “I’m lucky that I chose acting as my profession because it has not only enabled me to live with so many remarkable characters but has also taken me to so many incredible destinations.”

He adds, “For Doctor G, I’m fortunate to be visiting the heart of India and seeing it in its full glory. I’m shooting in Bhopal for the first time in my career and the city of lakes is a beautiful place. I’m bowled over by the warmth of the people and they have won my heart forever.”

India is the most beautiful place on the planet. I’m blessed to be born in this country which gives me the opportunity to cherish so much in my lifetime.”
