This 29-year-old comedian already has a history of drug abuse, and according to his mother, was undergoing treatment for bipolar disorder. Sagar was seen in Zee TV’s ‘Comedy Show’ judged by Farah Khan. However, As Sidharth recently went missing from the shoot, he was replaced with Jamie Lever to keep the show on-air.

When inquired with his mother about him getting into drugs again she said, “I was with Sidharth all this while and had recently come to Delhi because my 12-year-old pet was very unwell and I had to rush back home. After I came here I learned about Sidharth and I was devastated to know and it was a big setback for me. But as I am out of Mumbai I have no clarity on what exactly happened to him. I have got him admitted to rehab but I haven’t got a chance to know what exactly went wrong. I am travelling to Mumbai today and will be meeting him, only after that I will have clarity. I got a call from the police station that Sidharth Sagar was found in a bad state and he only remembered my name and number and they called me up.”

“They asked me to take him from there. The tragic part is whenever he has got into such a situation none of his friends, well wishes or anyone has come forward to help him. It has always been his parents but he has never understood to value his family. I am a mother and I want him to get out of the situation. I have always been around him and never let him be alone, but unfortunately, I had to travel to Delhi for my pet who was unwell and later passed away. We came here and we got a call about Sidharth. I am yet to figure out what exactly went wrong.” She also added that “Not many are aware that he was undergoing treatment for bipolar and he used to have hallucinations. I tried to balance his life and got him here. I had always told him that the more popular you get, the more enemies you will make in the industry. I had always taught him to lead a balanced life and not to run behind money. For me, peace is the most important thing and I had told him that. We can feed you your entire life but don’t want to see you again in a bad state. I will fight for my son till my last breath and not let anyone come in between. If it would not have been urgent I would have never travelled to Delhi. I am not sure if it is because of drugs or because he had stopped his treatment for bipolar. That I will only get to know him when I speak to him when I come back to Mumbai”, Alka Sagar said.

Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede when asked about this case that if there is a South American connection, he replies, “Apart from just consumption there are several other charges levelled against him. He will be produced in the court tomorrow.” he also says that they may ask for custody but will take the final call tonight on being asked on further questions.

Sameer Wankhede on speaking up about the possibility of conducting more raids on those in Bollywood as NCB has taken pledge to make our country a drug free nation, “There is zero tolerance but it does not mean we are going after just one industry. We are only concerned about violations of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) act.” He further added, “For us, it is about whoever is violating the NDPS act, we are not going after a particular industry.”

NCB Mumbai has registered Crime No. 82/21 in this case. Arman Kohli has been arrested u/s 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act.

Kohli was questioned by the NCB on Saturday after banned drugs were allegedly recovered from his house here.

A drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh, was also arrested under the NDPS Act.

“Following a raid, NCB team took actor Armaan Kohli to its office from his residence. After the raid, actor Armaan Kohli gave ambiguous answers to questions put up by NCB. He was then taken to custody for questioning at the NCB office”.

The Officer said, “The investigation has revealed that the case has international linkages as the cocaine seized has South American origin.”

The actor has featured in the Salman Khan-starrer “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” among other films and was also one of the contestants of the TV reality show Bigg Boss.

Narcotics Control Bureau said, “NCB arrested TV actor Gaurav Dixit after MD and Charas was recovered from his residence in a raid. He has been arrested in connection with the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan”.

The official said, “Narcotics Control Bureau has been on the watch for Gaurav Dixit for past several months after his name came up in the interrogation of Bigg Boss 7 contestant  and the actor Ajaz Khan and others in April of this year.  The actor Gaurav Dixit’s residence in Andheri’s Lokhandwala was searched at the time, and  the drugs were seized.”

The anti-drug sleuths agency had conducted a search at his residence in Andheri on 3rd April and seized multiple drugs including mephedrone worth  Rs 1.5 lakh.  Gaurav Dixit had managed to flee before Narcotics Control Bureau officials reached his residence in Lokhandwala, Andheri.   According to the official,  Gaurav Dixit was supplying drugs in Bollywood. NCB official will produced Dixit in the court for custody.

Actor and former Bigg Boss 7 contestant Ajaz Khan was arrested by the NCB in March in connection with restricted drugs found at his house.

As per IMDb, Gaurav has been a part of films like ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’, ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’, ‘Dahek: A Restless Mind’, ‘The Magic of Cinema’, and ‘Ganga Ke Paar Saiyan Hamar’. He has appeared in TV shows like ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’.

The controversy started back in 2019 where he was accused of buying illegal drugs, following which he had to leave IKON and start off as a solo artist. He reportedly stated that he did inquire about the drugs but never went ahead with them.

With all court trials and controversies, Singer-Songwriter B.I was able to release music last month and fans didn’t stop showing love and came more in support of him. Kim Han-bin was asked to be present in court on July 9 for his first hearing by the prosecution which is adjourned to August 27 due to Covid Case in Seoul metropolitan Court. He was indicted for violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics in May.
