There were a lot of rumours about who would play the part of Manav in the second season of Pavitra Rishta. It is finally out now, Shaheer Sheikh would be playing the part of Manav in Pavitra Rishta this time. And Ankita Lokhande would continue to play the part of Archana. The soap had developed cult popularity and Sushant had become a household name after this. Shaheer was last seen in “Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi”, where he managed to give a lovely performance. He also starred in a music video with Hina Khan recently. As for Ankita, she had quite a break from TV and is now returning.

It will be interesting to see, if Pavitra Rishta 2 will be able to garner the love from the audience as the first season did. But definitely it will be pleasure to watch this beautiful love story unfold.

U-Turn will be produced by Cult Movies, a new division of Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms that produces new age & edgy content. As noted previously, it is the third Cult Movies film to be announced following Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa and Dibakar Banerjee’s LSD 2.

The film centers on the death of motorists who break traffic rules at a particular flyover in Bangalore and the subsequent catching of the offender by an intern journalist and two police officers.

Directed by debutante Arif Khan, who has assisted on over ten films, including Gunjan Saxena, 2 States, Student of the Year, is all set to give this story a whole new perspective!
