Revisiting her recent multiplex and screen window controversy, ‘Thalaivii’ was recently not getting screens in both Hindi and down south areas. She publicly accused multiplexes including PVR and INOX of ganging up against her. Now, PVR cinemas have addressed her accusation with warmth and kindness and have managed to give Thalaivii, four weeks’ window down south. Yet, the issue persists on Hindi screens. Reason being, multiplexes following the government’s covid based regulations.

The actress has been using her official Instagram account for the promotions of the film and had recently slammed the photo-sharing website for ‘unprofessionalism’. She had penned, “Dear @instagram I need to add my film trailer link to my profile I am told my profile is verified so you own it now, even though I have earned and build this name and profile over many years but on insta I need your permission to add anything to my own name or profile. Your team in India tells me that they need to take permissions of their international bosses… it’s been one week feeling like a slave of bunch of white idiots….Change your East India Company attitude.” 

Apart from ‘Thalaivii’, Kangana will also be seen in an action entertainer ‘Dhaakad’. The actress has also started shooting for ‘Tejas’, wherein she plays the role of an air force officer. Kangana has also announced ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and political drama ‘Emergency’ as her upcoming movies.

Keeping in mind the power of social media, we are here to talk about Ranu Mondal, a poor lady from West Bengal’s Ranaghat. She used to live in the station and making a living out of that. The life of this lady changed when a video went viral, where she was singing the iconic Lata Mangeshkar song ‘Ek Pyar Nagma Hai’ at the railway station. Soon with the support of singer and music Composer Himesh Reshamiya, Ranu started singing songs for him and one of the songs called, “Teri Meri Kahani” was released in his film titled, ‘Happy Hardy And Heer’ in 2020. After this the new singer in Btown was invited in many singing reality shows and she gained both fame and trolls. Though this fame was short lived, soon everyone forgot about the singer and the rest is history. Now the life story of Ranu is being created to hit the big screens. Being directed by Hrishikesh Mondal, the biopic is titled as ‘Miss Ranu Maria’ starring actress Eshika Dey.

Eshika being a good actress has appeared on screen before in many bengali and hindi films. She was even a part of Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Lal Kaptan’
As stated by Times of India, Eshika said, “I wasn’t their first choice. It was Sudipta di (Chakraborty) who was supposed to be in the biopic, it was published everywhere in 2019, I guess. Maybe due to some problem with her schedule dates, Sudipta has stepped down. The film plan has been through a lot. It was initially planned in 2019 then 2020 happened and the lockdown was there. Now it’s being made in Hindi instead of Bengali. This time they approached me and I really had no idea. It was Shomin Ghosh who approached me and that’s it!”

Further the actress added, saying she is very excited about the film but she is afraid she’ll have to reduce 10kgs within 2 months for the film.  The actress said, “I’m going on a strict diet for 2 months, starting tomorrow with my dietician. Actually, this is the only thing about the film that I’m scared about. I love food and going by my social media posts, you will understand how much I love cooking and eating. Apart from food, there’s also going to be a whole change in my lifestyle with lots of exercise and meditation. It’s going to be a challenge with my personal life, as I stay alone in Mumbai; I don’t even have a maid or boyfriend.”

The film will start its shooting in November and is expected to release in theaters somewhere around March-April 2022. Let’s see how well the biopic would do. Would it face trolls or would it get the love it deserves after all the efforts the crew would make for the success of this film.

Yes the makers of Radhe Shyam has released the poster of the film which shows the Pooja playing a piano and Prabhas is looking at her with utmost love. With Prabhas looking dapper in a suave tuxedo and Pooja Hegde sporting a breathtaking ball gown. This romantic drama Radhe Shyam will release in theatres nationwide on Makar Sankranti next year.

This multi lingual love story will be shot in Europe and released all across India. The director of the film wrote, The director Radha Krishna Kumar, “We have worked very hard and left no stone unturned in ensuring that we bring audiences a theatrical experience they won’t forget. Radhe Shyam comes to theatres on 14th January 2022 and we are so excited to present the poster of the film on a special day like Janamashtami.”

The Actor on being interviewed by ‘By Invite Only season 2’ said, “First thing first, I’d like to say definitely stand by it. I think I don’t have to explain anything to anyone. I think it’s been one the best things that have ever happened to me those 9-10 years of my life. It really made me who I am. She really really helped me become so much better of a human being.”

He praised the actress saying, “I can’t thank her enough. I think it’s been a beautiful union that it was, up until the time it was. The film opens up with the same, where a group of women rush to the courtroom after killing Balli Chaudhary (the man who harrased and molested these women for years), these women are identified there not by their names but by their caste and they are dalits. With such a strong beginning the makers genuinely made the film give a great impact.

The film 200 Halla Ho, by Sarthak Dasgupta attempts to highlight the issue of caste discrimination in society and also taps into issues of patriarchy and privilege. It highlighted the two most important aspects of our nation, women and dalits.

“Tum nahi samajh sakte Dalit hona kya hota hai” and “Main kyun na bolun main Dalit hun, jab ye samaj humein roz yaad dilaata ki main Dalit hun?” says Rinku Rajguru’s character Asha, who is trying to bring justice to all the women who are looked down upon and who are oppressed. There are so many dialogues in the film that are connecting directly to the audience. These dialogues are powering and the cinematography is great. Moreover the heavy parts of the film are fixed to a courtroom, which have monologues by veteran actor Palekar.

The best thing about the film is that, it knows the essence of the film and the story. The writing contributes to keeping a tight rein on the film’s tonal emphasis even as it articulates disgust and fury at the social distortions and legal loopholes that allow the most heinous violations of human rights in the name of caste supremacy.

The writers have done great research and have even met the victim’s family and the real life Balli’s family to write the story in details and to bring the realistic hints to the film.

Moreover IMDb rated the film, 8.1 out of 10 which is quite decent and tagged it as, crime, thriller and drama.

Kangana has quite frequently used her social media to raise her voice. She recently misused her platforms to lash out. She was banished from Twitter for violating the platform’s Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. Since then, she has been extremely active on Instagram but predicted that she would soon be removed from there as well.

Via her Instagram stories Kangana shared,  “Last night I got an Instagram alert as someone tried to hack my account in China, the alert disappeared suddenly, and this morning all my stories about the Taliban have disappeared. My account was disabled. After calling Instagram people I could access it, but as I try to write I am getting logged out of my account again and again.”

She further added: “Took my sister’s phone to do this story as she has my account open on her phone as well. This is a very big international conspiracy… Unbelievable.”
