Daemen was not the 1st choice for the flight but the 1st chosen candidate couldn’t attend the trip and the teen was notified about it while vacationing in Italy. When the call took place it was exciting as Oliver stated, “They called and said: Are you still interested?’ and we were like ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!'”

The teen said “I told Jeff, like, I’ve actually never bought something from Amazon,” Daemen told Reuters in an interview on Friday at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. “And he was like, ‘oh, wow, it’s a long time ago I heard someone say that’.”This 18 year old wanted to travel to space as a kid and this was no less than a dream come true.
