Manoj was in Kerala shooting for his upcoming project. The Family Man actor rushed to Delhi after hearing this news. It is reported that Manoj’s father was critical for the last few days. The shooting for this project has been halted for now. The news was shared by filmmaker Avinash Das where he tweeted, “मनोज भैया के पिताजी नहीं रहे। उनके साथ गुज़ारे पल याद आ रहे हैं। यह तस्वीर मैंने भितिहरवा आश्रम में ली थी। बड़े धीरज वाले आदमी थे। बेटे के ऐश्वर्य की छुअन से हमेशा ख़ुद को दूर रखा। मामूली बाने में बड़े आदमी थे। नमन। श्रद्धांजलि।”

It is said that Manoj Bajpayee’s father’s funeral will be held at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. On the work front, Manoj was last seen in a ZEE5 film Dial 100 with Neena Gupta. Previously this year, his show The Family Man 2 was also released and it received a lot of appreciation from fans. He will be next seen in Kurup and Despatch. ‘The India Chron’ pays condolences to the actor and his loved ones.

Taking it to Twitter, Bajpayee wrote, “Deeply shocked and saddened to hear about my friend @guhapradeep’s passing away !! May you rest in peace Pradeep,” he tweeted. Subhash Ghai, who had also shared a tweet earlier praying for Guha’s speedy recovery, mourned the Fiza producer’s demise. He wrote, “Goodbye my friend #Pradeep Guha I will always be indebted for your genuine love and support to I needed and we all @Whistling_Woods international 4 your enriched guidance as a director on board since its birth. U were the makers of many in our industry. RIP MY FRIEND”

Many, including singer Adnan Sami, filmmaker Subhash Ghai and author Suhel Seth, mourned his passing.

A few days ago, Guha’s family released a statement stating about the deterioration in his health. “Unfortunately, the aggressive nature of the disease has led to rapid deterioration in his condition. The next 48-72 hours are critical. He was put on the ventilator early this morning and is in ICU in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital”.

For the unversed, Pradeep Guha is known for producing movies like Karisma Kapoor starrer Fiza, Hrithik Roshan’s Mission Kashmir, and Phir Kabhi etc.

While interviewing the badhai ho actress, the bollywood life team, asked the actress if the casting couch system is gradually fading infront of the working skills required in the industry or if it is still there. They even asked her what would her message be to the young girls who want to make a mark in this Industry.

To these questions Neena Gupta said, “Well, nobody would call a 60-year old woman for a casting couch incident, right (jokingly), so, I wouldn’t be in the best position to know about the state of the casting couch in the industry today. However, coming to new and upcoming actresses, I think everyone has a different journey. You have a different journey and so do I. Trying to make your way according to someone else’s journey would be a mistake. Similarly, it isn’t necessary that someone trying to follow my footsteps would encounter the same things that I did or forgot the same things that I lost. So, everybody’s journey is different, and based on their understanding, every young girl should just work hard and only focus on their work. These are two most important things. If you have them, then all the other things automatically fall into place,”

The old actress seemed thrilled and excited for her upcoming project “Dial 100” where she would be working with Manoj Bajpayee ‘The family man’ actor. She said that the movie has recently released on Zee5.

Comedian Sunil Pal recently took a jibe at the ‘The Family Man’ actor and called him a ‘Batameez and Gira hua aadmi’. He also associated Manoj’s popular work series ‘The Family Man’ with porn.
Expressing that whatever happened, referring to Raj Kundra’s arrest was necessary, he added that web series makers and actors take undue advantage of the fact that there is no censorship involved on OTT. He also said that he hates 3-4 people and specifically took a shot at Manoj Bajpayee.

Now Manoj Bajpaaye has reacted to Sunil Pal’s jibes against him.

In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Manoj said, “I understand people don’t have jobs. I completely understand. I have been in this situation. But in these kinds of situations, people should meditate.”

Earlier in an interview citing Raj Kundra’s arrest, comedian Sunil Pal said: “Whatever happened, it had to happen, and it was necessary. I say this because big people whether it is web series or other places are taking advantage of censorship not being there. The web series being made these days cannot be watched at home. I would like to specifically point out that I really hate 3-4 people like Manoj Bajpayee. However big an actor Manoj Bajpayee is, I have never seen a more “badtameez” and “gira hua insaan”.

He further added, “The country gave you the President’s Award and what are you doing for the family audience? You make a web series where the wife is having an affair with another man and you have an affair elsewhere, the minor daughter is talking about her boyfriend and the small son is behaving older than his age. Is this what a family looks like? Now they have stopped the season and kept people wondering what happened in Lonavala. What is happening? All this must be happening. What have you left to show?”

On-screen Manoj will next be seen in a Zee5 original called “Dial 100” alongside Neena Gupta and Sakshi Tanwar. The film will premiere on the OTT platform on August 6.
