Thereafter there were dirty rumours about her and Raj Anadkat’s personal relationship on the sets of the show. The duo was said to be in a relationship. The matter quickly spiraled out of hand and Munmun had to come once again on social media and put forth her clarification about the rumour. She stated point blank that there was no truth to the speculation and Raj Anadkat aka Tapu and her were just work buddies.

There was also a rumour about Munmun no longer being a part of show which also turned out to be false.

However, keeping all the negativities aside Munmun has now decorated her new abode and the pictures of her house are again doing the rounds on the internet.

On the work front, Munmun is going strong as an intefgral part of the Sab TV comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She also did a number of commercials on TV and also got to share the screen space with the Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. TMKOC recently completed 3000 episodes which is no less than a milestone for television.

Munmun has now broken her silence and has shared two separate notes (which she later deleted) slamming trollers and the media fraternity. In one for the general public, she wrote: “To the general public, I had far better expectations from you. But the FILTH that you have showered in the comment section, even from the so-called ‘LITERATE’ ones proves how regressive a society we are.”

“Women are constantly AGE SHAMED, SLUT SHAMED, MOM SHAMED, at the cost of your humour. Whether YOUR humour drives someone to the edge of a mental breakdown or not, is NEVER your concern. 13 years of entertaining people and it didn’t take 13 minutes for anyone of you to RIP MY DIGNITY APART. So next time someone is clinically depressed or driven to take their own lives, pause and think whether it was YOUR WORDS that drove that person to the edge or not (sic),” she added, concluding: “Today, I am ashamed of calling myself a DAUGHTER OF INDIA.”

She also addressed the media saying: “To the media and their zero credibility ‘journos’, who has given u the right to post ‘IMAGINARY’ ‘MADE UP’ articles in people’s name about their private life without their consent? R u liable to the damage that you cause to their lives with your reckless behaviour? You don’t stop at shoving your cameras on the face of a grieving woman who has just lost her love or lost her son, in a funeral, just for your trps. You can stoop to any level to create sensational articles/ headlines at the cost of someone’s dignity, but R U GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WRECKING HAVOC IN THEIR LIVES?? If No then, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!”

Earlier in July this year, Raj had put a fire emoji on Munmun’s post on Instagram. Since then, the fans were curious to know if the two have been dating each other or was it a one-time thing on social media. Well that curiosity seems to turn true now. Lately, Munmun has joined the cast of the show after a break of two months while Raj has been there for a long time now. They too reportedly seem to be quite serious about each other and look very happy together.

But something weird happened when her she was found talking to people on LinkedIn whereas she claims it to be a fake account, the actress talks about it on instagram saying, “If you are interacting with anyone in my name in LinkedIn you are 100% talking to an imposter”. She accompanied the post with a sticker that read “fake”.

Lately Munmun has been a part of few big stories as she spoke something ill about a particular caste of people on her YouTube channel. For this she recieved much hatred from the viewers and her fans as well but the actress apologized for the statement and took her words back.

Munmun has not made a appropriate statement on the news of her leaving the show, but the makers of TMKOC made an official statement which said that the actress is awaited.
